The law enforcement officers i have dealt with over the years have been very professional and honest. The only time i ever had a problem with a very dirty cop was on I20 at Big Spring Texas back around 1990. I was stopped for running 65mph in a 55mph zone. This state trooper was a asshole to the highest degree, he told me i could give him $200.00 cash or go to jail with my truck impounded.

what you always need to say when asked or it is stated to you that you have nothing to hide, you dont mind if i take a look do you- you say yes, yes I mind, I don't consent to any searches. when he says why not, you just say again I dont consent to any searches. This will make him involve the supervisior and will give you a better case agianst them. Often I have found that they let you go after 45 min of bugging the shit out of you.- Be sure to roll up your window and lock your doors as well.

I will tell you this- if you know you have no warrants and you have nothing illegal in your car and 45 min to 2 hours to waste then be nice, but stand up for the rights you have. Start by not stopping on the road way, turn on you flashers, slow down and find a parking lot and get into a space. Only roll the window 1/4 way down, so it rolls up fast if asked to get out.

@helomoto719 FYI: This was covered years ago when some African American family from NYC was driving to Disney World. Wearing nice clothes, driving a new SUV, holding a few hundred dollars in cash and some luggage they were stopped, searched and taken to the local police station (in GA).
The police seized their SUV, luggage and cash in-hand and the DA went on to seize all of what was in their bank accounts back in NY - leaving the family to call friends at home to wire them cash to get home.

I explained it to him tnhat I would be taing him as a prisoner in my car to hjis desk sargent along with my employer as a witness as to where my money came from. This will make him involve the supervisior and will give you a better case agianst them. Often I have found that they let you go after 45 min of bugging the shit out of you.- Be sure to roll up your window and lock your doors as well.

@boysselle I have been pulled over many times for window tint ( limo tint ) over the years, and a few times for speeding. I will tell you this- if you know you have no warrants and you have nothing illegal in your car and 45 min to 2 hours to waste then be nice, but stand up for the rights you have. Start by not stopping on the road way, turn on you flashers, slow down and find a parking lot and get into a space. Only roll the window 1/4 way down, so it rolls up fast if asked to get out.

I was stopped for no apparent reason once. The cop told me that my window tint was too dark, and when i told him that it couldn't be since it was factory installed, he flat out told me that I was wrong and that it wasn't factory installed. He then accused me of drinking and driving, not having my information in order (i was a college student so my home address was still on my license, and wanted to check my car. FUCK THAT BULLSHIT I did nothing wrong and he did everything he could to investigate
