I was always impressed by the use of what sounds like a large orchestra being used to create ambient sounds of traffic. I can see why this band were compared with Roxy Music. The music paints sonic pictures and nostalgia in the same manner Bryan Ferry envisaged when he gathered his melting pot of classical, post-war pop, and avant-garde futurism. The musicianship and craftsmanship here is astonishing. I still await a reissue of their third and IMO, their best album.

I was enjoying a nocturnal interlude listening to the CD version of this song just three nights ago. Didn't know all Dr. Buzzard's stuff was over here, much less this exquuiiiisssiitttte piece here! Lain out on the floor having a nocturnal interlude...!
