  • ONly and Only Jim Carey could play him in a movie, and it was genius!

  • he truly was a comic geniuos

  • people really don't get this?

and who cares what simon cowell "the prodigy" (pfft the prodigy..) thinks?

Andy Kaufman was more of a genius in his short life then simon cowell will ever be!

rubbish? seeing simon week after week on Idol was rubbish! hahaha

atleast this is entertaining and not the same mono-tone fake crap all the time.

    hahaha people.......

  • One word: JUXTAPOSITION

  • @SauronsEye lol simon cowell the prodigy that he is. you suck.

  • @SauronsEye Don't worry too much if you don't get it. It takes an elevated mind to do so. But hey, you're in luck because i think The Jersey Shore is on in a few minutes. XD

  • love the man

  • If you don't find Andy funny then you are a failure!

  • I remember watching this on tv as a kid and cracking up at the sight of those "muggers" being made to sing 'It's a Small World.' It still kills me!

  • Miss Andy. Rip

  • WTF? Seriously. Strange. Dude. Can't help loving this number. Not sure why because it's based on the most irritating theme park attraction ever but... Kaufman makes it endearing.

  • Happy Birthday Andy, you always made this small world so much more interesting:)

  • Was this his show or something?

  • Andy sings with CONGAS...

  • i would love it if andy kaufman said ill have a fucking smile next time you come over here!!!!

  • His Comedy was Art, living in his own world making the audience wonder when was he really meanning seriously or joking, which made his show entertainment unique... Andy Kaufman forever!!!!!

  • @czam73 Andy's main mystery is other people not knowing his real personality. He has distorted it completely. All his personalities are him really. His other mystery is whether he is really dead. He might come back unexpectedly one day and make it the greatest act in history! He isn't so much a comedian, the comedy is a side effect of his performances that are usually uncomfortable for an audience. At the end of it all, its Andy that is laughing the most. :D

  • Does anybody have Andy and the B Street Conga Band doing "I Whistle a Happy Tune?" I remember seeing it on the Dick Van Dyke variety show in the 70's. It's even funnier than this.

  • No. Nobody has that.

  • spankysteez,, it was a simple time. I grew up in the 70's and things were better,, ppl were happier with what they had, and we did not have the technology that exists today. People actually talked to one another, instead of texting and computer email. When you got "mail",,, someone had actually written you a letter. Things weren't so fast. But,, we also were in the middle of Vietnam,, and had the "gas lines" etc. Every decade has it's troubles,, no one ever sees that til they look back

  • I love his voice. He sounds almost condescending, like he's singing to children.

  • "I'll Have A Cup Of Coffee "

  • The day just can't get any better!~!!!!

    Thanks for making me laugh!

  • my favorite clip of andy!!! i absolutely love the beginning

  • Thank you for posting this

  • what ever happened to the meaningful, friendly lyrics that kaufman professed? makes me wish i was alive in the 60s and 70s. the world seemed like a less violent place

  • they are the lyrics from disney's 'its a small world' ride. The world was a very violent place in the 60s and 70s. But at least some people were trying to stop the violence.

  • I'll have a cup of coffee

  • LMAOL²

  • What is this from?

  • it is from "Andy's Funhouse"

  • brilliant

  • He's actually a really good singer when he tries.

  • Vegetable soup and wheat toast, mmmmm.

    (Not.)

That sounds like part of a hospital diet for constipation or something. Or in a special section on the menu for people on Weight Watchers.

  • me, my brother and my cousin all agree that your lil joke uhave goin thier was really stupid and not funny at alll

  • I wasn't trying to be funny. I've never told a joke in my life. I'm a song and dance girl.

  • ha. were have i heard that??

    lol

    funny.

  • SHREK! i just remembered lol

  • Oh good. 'Cause whether you and your cousins like a person's comment or not.... it matters so much to all of us... ;-)

  • I particularly like the cowbell guy.

  • ill have a cup of kaufie

  • so, so good.

  • Another instant Kaufman classic.

  • Brilliant.

  • Carey Does Kaufman Amazing. Perfect match...(i know this is kaufman before any of you mo mo's tell me i am dumb lol)

  • I was just kidding..You took it way to suspiciously!

  • One of my favorite Kaufman gags. I choked laughing the first time I saw it.

  • You got my point...thank you.

  • Snotra:

You said, "This is very racial."

What??? It's a Disney song done to African drums for humor. What's racial about that? It could have just as easily been Austrian accordions or Swiss pipes and you wouldn't have said anything about this skit being racial.

You also said, "USA's racial election year!"

Now that does sound like a racist comment to me. Why you see racism in the Andy Kaufman video is because you see your own prejudice in it, not Andy's.

It's obvious that you are the racist.

  • how is this racial, the black guys in the background look really cool and tough from the jazzy part of town while Andy is making himself look like an idiot, you tell me who is being offended, and the only racial thing about this year's election are the people who think it is, like Neil6000 said, its there for humor

  • A True Genius

  • check out the Puzzlementary channel, and you will be on the bus...

  • Andy you are the best! I wish you came back! I will see you in Heaven! Rest in Peace!

  • FANTASTIC. Check out my vid of Andy on Johnny. GBY and LOL, N

  • That's Cindy Willams as Waitress

    LoLoLoL's

  • You should see when he interviews Cindy on this same special. It's one of the best segments in the entire show.

  • do you have it?

  • Yes, I do. But unfortunately, I don't currently have the materials to post it on YouTube.

  • Did I just see Linc from the MOD SQUAD !! \O/

    Andy, Andy (((((((Andy))))))))

    You are much missed m8

    Rest In Peace

    Cheeeeeeers o/* 4 Posting *\0

I almost didn't click on it... Song brings back being on DisneyWorld ride & they WOULD NOT STOP SINGING THIS

    LoLoLoLoLoLoL's o/*

  • its a small world dance version

  • Kaufman was so ridiculous. I think you have to have a particular mindset to find this funny...maybe I'm a dork, but this makes me laugh.

  • I agree I find Andy highly amusing. But many people don't get his humor. I have figured either you love him and consider him one of the funniest people ever or you don't get him and everything goes way over your head. He died before I was born (im 21) but my dad introduced me to him at a young age and I think he is arguably the funniest person ever. Much funnier than the people out there now anyway.

  • Kaufman was so ridiculous. I think you have to have a particular mindset to find this funny...maybe I'm a dork, but this makes me laugh.

  • when andy played the improv, he brought the one who had the turkey sandwich up on stage and started calling him "baldy" and etc, it's in the video "andy on hbo part 4 of 4"

  • Andy is my favorite person.

  • MY, BUDDY ANDY!

  • Andy Kaufman makes me happy.

  • I always loved this conga bit. I believe Andy called them the E Street Conga Band. They performed on the variety show, "Van Dyke and Company." They performed a version of "I Whistle a Happy Tune" that's hysterical.

  • brill :)

  • I think this is from SNL.

I love how the guys helping him out on this all look so dead serious.

  • jim carrey gets this voice just right..

  • jesus!!! andy, wher are you?

  • Andy's goofin' on Elvis, hey baby--are we losin' touch?

    (courtesy of R.E.M.)

If you believe..check out the "Man on the Moon" video...thanks for replying to another bereft fan.

  • crazy cracker....

    har!

  • Now this was one my step Father's FAVORITE SAYINGS! And he also said, "NO MATTER WHERE I GO I KNOW EVERYONE"! Used to make me LAUGH!

  • i LOVE the part at 1:23

  • ok....those eyes are gigantic XD

i love the way he is looking at 2:37

great clip btw....where did u get this? :O

  • 'I'll have a cup of coffee....' I don't know why but that line just cracks me up because of his face and the silence after it.
