  • useless nurses with a "C" grade in everything except blah blahing.

  • how did these cows get into med school? i wanna get paid really well too.

  • @bomberfun1 They're not in med school. This is nursing education. Pretty much everyone gets in.

  • @MrPinchyPants That's not true, I'm not sure where you're from but getting into nursing school is very competitive. Granted it may not seem that way by looking at the video (these ladies are STUDENTS so clearly they're still learning)but trust me everyone does not get in.

  • The mother is fake

  • @Drakath987654321 and the child

  • urgh thats well creepy surely this can not prepare them for a real life birth!!!

  • Lorall? I Would Call Her Gothic Anne

  • @AnimeYaoiMad Do not know who was born?

  • @AdamDean2010 You..? <:

  • lol ill laugh if the manequin jumps out at them during the end XDD

  • lollllllllll didnt realise they did this!

  • This is interesting, I have birthed four babies and yeah, the nurses all say the same thing, I never knew they were programmed! They looked at that manekin the same way the looked at me! Thay are players!

  • Lmaooo if I was high this would be almost too much. I love how they kept looking at her!

  • i love how the both nurses on either side start off by going "PUSH NOELLE PUUUUSH" and then towards the end they just kind of give up lol

  • lol

  • thats what I thought?? How do they do this with out laughing. lol

  • creepy

  • think of how meny times poor nuel had to give birth

  • yes, yes, keep breathing Noelle, keep breathing.

  • lol We have this Noelle mannequin at my Nursing school...she has a removable stomach... ^.^

  • Hey what are the most important thing you should know children? No, it's not math. No, it's not English. It's helping a woman conceive a baby! How else could you possibly be a successful actor without know this?

  • the fucking placenta luks like the doctor pulls out my wife heart, it was sickening

  • its fake

  • @muktommo No! oO

  • this is the most stupid thing i have ever seen!... they are talking to a doll like she is liseting!!!! LMAO!

  • Lol......yeah they needed tomato sauce. Lol. Her eyes OMG. lol

  • i remembered way back in university. We also have noelle and life being nursing student was fabulous and fun at Far Eastern University, Philippines. .. And now I'm now Registered Nurse working in one of the Tertiary Hospital in e.rod. SLMC :)

  • they should put tomatoe sauce in the body :D

  • I hope I am this quiet and quick when having my baby. LMAO

  • For everyone else, this is not the only way students r trained. Hospitals only have so many methoods because patients who come in r monitored, so the easiest position for I.V and other things to go in is laying on her back. That is why students focus o. This methoods.

  • @enternickname. These students are in TRAINING obviously they have much to learn. And why is everyone hooked on "natural" child birth? How is child birth natural just because ur at home? Obstetricians study and train many long years just to deilivery YOUR baby, I suggest that you be a little more thankful for the modern medicine you have rights to!

  • Oh dear... I hope the poor students who train with this... thing... know that real birth is not like that. Ever. And it shouldn't be - who would want such a cold, horrible approach to birth? Thank goodness for homebirth, midwives who know what they're doing, and most of all, the female body - which knows what it's doing!

  • How awful!! These students are being so incredibly misguided. This is the absolute worst way to birth. :( Thumbs down on a terrible video. Get away from the docs ladies,, and get a midwife!

  • This is ridiculous, no wonder women are induced after "failure to progress" in hospital if this is the midwifery led care they get. SHE KNOWS HOW TO BREATH. YOU DONT HAVE TO HOLD HER LEGS AND IM SURE HER BODY IS TELLING HER WHAT TO DO.

  • HOw unfortunate that they're learning the only way to deliver a baby is on your back with the legs in the air! I had 10 pound babies - god bless the doula who suggested a supported squat with gravity helping.

  • "Noelle" is a great teaching tool. The trainees have to practice with her so they know how to handle the real deal when it happens. Awesome video!

  • this is dum

  • what's the vibrating?

  • Its FAKE

  • how come ive never seen a guy in this faculty..

  • I don't get the point of this video!!!!

  • That is bullshit, y do that to a dummy.......

  • hahaha ahh look its a baby girl they r sooo funny they were trying not to laugh

  • Well I hope that dummy can give birth on its hands and knees too! Women shouldn't be on their backs to have babies.

  • ITS A DUMMY, HOW IS IT SUPPOSE TO TALK? ESPECIALLY IF IT WAS IN PAIN LOL

  • LOL, this is pretty great tho!

  • at 1:06 the girl was laughing lol

  • I would be cracking up laughing trying to do that

  • i had a class like this i kept laughing everytime the teacher said ok breath now push ok ok another breath they should of made a robot that moans

  • That was one silent and clean birth I have ever seen. =P

I don't know if I would have been able to keep a straight face like they did. lol

  • mga siraulo tyanak yang lumabas.....ahe

  • there training

  • it makes me more nervous having a bb actually haha

  • its SOOOO fake

  • @i3kick4ur7ass lol i think everyone know that

  • id be like here ur f*cking baby then grab it out then throw it at her

  • @XMiniTriggerX u mahd rong lmao srry u so funny

  • i agree with JCUproductions the one in the pink had the dolls leg waaaaayyyyyyy outa place and she kept telling her to breath when she was supposed to be pushing and then she stopped counting and they well it was very bad

  • DUDE I could never tale that seriously. I'd be like "Push! Get the stupid doll out!" abd then crack up laughing. xDD

  • the girl in pin k why is she looking at the doll face repeatedly.. lol lol

  • OOOOO just A DOLL

  • i couldnt act that long with a doll lol

  • LOL. GREAT training NOT! First of all if a mum pushes towards her bum she is more likely to tear her perineal muscles. And the supine (back lying) position reduces the pelvic outlet by 25% causing much more pain for mum and more chance of baby becoming stuck. This might be ok training for an epidural birth.

  • Had 2 births like this, and I am sooooo glad my third was a homebirth. Totally different and awesome!

  • if it was for a class, then so what

  • aww :L

  • that would be so humiliating!!

  • Hahaha, I think i've never laughed out loud so much as I now did...

  • that was the most akward video i think ive ever watched on youtube

  • uh you might as well be delivering for sex dolls instead of real humans, this is ridiculous. these girls are not in touch with life. I would suggest, have children then do this class and see how this is stupid.

i would agree with the others, GRAVITY is the only way, unassisted is better

  • lol its a doll

  • Comment removed

  • haha spiffy teaching technique but after watching other videos i think i'll stay home

  • I sure hope the baby doesn't choke on secretions or develop airway complications because it wasn't suctioned.

  • i baby doesnt have to be suctioned

  • So glad I had mine at home instead! Choose homebirth, much nicer and you don't have to be flat on your back for the doctors convenience! mothering com has a great forum for home birth and unassisted childbirth. Also, don't cut your baby if he's a boy check out nocirc org

  • Valsalver pushing. Sooo old hat and dangerous for mum and baby. When will they read the evidence and teach the evidence.

  • Having a baby, laying on your back, pushing uphill - NOT the way to do it!! Use gravity, choose alternative delivery positions, pick a care provider who realizes that it's not an illness to deliver, it's NATURAL!!

  • are you fucking kidding me.hhahahahahahaha

  • Very funny

  • Haha this is actually kind of creepy....but still legit! :)

  • hahah im gonna be that silent when i have a baby

  • @TheWigglebum Only if you believe in Scientology..LOL

  • thats how they make manekins

  • lmao

  • wow um... it looks like that old lady is trying to stretch the peeing hole of that manican to get the baby out!!!

  • who is the babydaddy

  • LOL, she doesnt know..

  • lol

  • That looks like my steering wheel in my car. My sister also has one of these but she drives a stick shift. They should throw in a few blood splats to make it realistic.

  • its always a girl! with her of coures

  • observe sterility please...

  • How else can they practise what they've learned? Do you want someone "Practising " on your family member ?

  • are you f-ing serious? This would be harmless if that dummy and lab didn't cost as much as it did. How sad that this is how they are training those who will help usher new life into this world.

  • How else are they supposed to learn?

  • This is...interesting. Thank GOD for the medical dummys!

  • imagine if i was there...i would be LOLing through it all!!! i even LOLed when my sister had her cpr test thingy and had to use dummies...hehe

  • immature.

  • these women wud scare me at my pregnancy insane women

  • I don't know how they aren't laughing,

I wouldn't be able to help myself if I was trying to comfort a plastic woman !

  • i wish it was that easy hahahaha

  • It's a teaching and learning experience. I am male student nurse and it's all about the concept.

  • We have one of these in our nursing lab and they're pretty neat!!!

  • HoW in the world can they keep a straight face XD

  • @babyfacedstar lol. i know. it's kinda awkward...i shud probably control my laughter once i get in the nursing program...we gotta learn this.

  • @babyfacedstar hahaha i was wondering the same thing! i would feel so awkward..

  • @babyfacedstar lol damn

  • ROBOBABY!!

  • lmao. Resus Annie!!!! Think she's been in every hospital in Britain. One minute wer'e doing CPR and the next she's giving birth!!! X

  • is she playing with a fake fanny?

  • OMG what is that a human or what??!?!?!

  • no it wasn't

  • go resusci Annie go, see when resusci Annie isnt dead or dying, shes giving birth, best bit when they lift the dolls arms to cradle the baby, and it just falls down lmao

  • its plastic

  • i wish ir was tha easy...!!!! lol

  • id hit it

  • LOL, did u see the chick in the white outfit trying not to laugh!

  • WOW IM SCARED..

  • Why didnt it give birth to a ps triple Yeah a ps triple Not da wii But da ps triple BALLIIINNN See maybe if the gaim is laik WAHRIOWEAR SHOVE IT UP YO OWN ASS GAME Yeah I dont know if theres any minigames Where you have to shove it up yo own ass Know who play dat shit? Ghey niggaz, ghey niggaz.
  • I didn't know crash test dummies could give birth... We learn something every day.

  • i wanna be a midwife

  • I would like to become a midwife thats been my dream job

  • ok this is shit coz ud take longer giving birth if it was real that is !! obviously as its a simulator it aint gonna take 5 secs make one with real people in it next time

  • fukin bullshit

  • They are medical students being taught what to do,,,,dur how stupid are u!

  • I got one of those at hime, use it for other stuff tho

  • WTF Women should never give birth on their backs. Imagine if you had to take a shit everyday with your legs in the air and a chanting audience.

  • your obviously a guy....

  • So what if he's a guy. He's right. That is not a recommended position for birthing.

  • errrr, I was replying to someone else.....!

so, what exactly is the recommended position even though most women give birth in this possie unless they decide another possie?? I would expect doctors and mid wifes to let us know before having the kid....?

  • I realized you were reply. to another com. Disregarding someones statement 'cause they are a guy isn't Ok My apologies if I read you wrong

Most w. don't 'choose' 2 birth in this pos. I expect midwives 2 know better but many are medwives who have learned the medi. model Best pos. depends on the woman almost always upright oft on one knee or squat. If prone on her left side there are anatomic and physiologic reasons for this. Watch some of the homebirth vids. Tho. many have rude attendants as well

  • The squatting position is the best position to give birth. shortens the birth canal, uses gravity, its just easier all around.

  • But that's not a woman, it's a crash test dummie.

  • GAY!

  • Wow thats cool. I didn't know they had birthmom simulaters. i've used a baby simulater before. Thats amaaing!

  • they should be teaching that women deserve to deliver in other positions. This position is shit! It closes the pelvis up by 27%

  • it was just a demonstration lol it was a mannequin! lol

  • A demonstration of how to assist a woman in birth should start I would think with how to best do it. Not how to less effective.

  • Duh its fake, its a learning program for future nurses or docters.

  • its not fake..

  • lol yes it is fake xD

  • boring this is so fake bitches dont watch this no more

  • ROFLCOPTER!!

  • fake

  • If only Miss Noelle there could speak and scream. That would be realistic ha.

  • i thought it was a real person til i seen the legs and head

  • this is freaky

  • stop the blabbing and just get the baby out!!

  • It's the mannequin from the old navy commercials!

  • hahahahaha so true

  • i thought it was real i was like why she so calm dnt that shit hurt lol

  • lmao

  • same here i thought it was real

  • omg at first i was like..what is wrong with that lady!?!? because i saw her face..and then i realized it wasa dummy.

  • hehe, first i thought the woman was like half-dead

and than it hit me.. its a dummy ..lol

  • yeh me too lol

  • Arghhh!! Practicing with a dummy!! And of course, it has to lie on its back!!

It is more painful and screws up everything for a woman to give birth like that. AWful!

  • omg coached pushing is the bane of real women and babies everywhere. I cant beleive U of M is proud of teaching their nursing students this abomination of a practice. women should not be on their back to give birth. get a new perspective, U of M. you're teaching torture methods here.

  • lol took me 30 sec to realize it wasnt real!

  • ahahahaah same xD

  • fake

  • The problem with this is that women aren't machines. Not all women are going to be medicated and lying flat on their backs. Women like to be able to move to birth. Hire some mothers who have given birth before, preferably unmedicated (ie, no pain relief) and have them act for you.

I have given birth twice and have seen several women give birth. I am a professional birth doula. The dummies give a false sense of security. If you work with real women, you might get some real training.

  • I agree that working with real women is important, but I'm a CPM student and all of our early training was on a sim which wasn't even female--however, working with Stan made things easier when it came to working with real women. We were able to hone the basic skills without having to worry about embarrassing ourselves or hurting the woman.

  • The mother seems like she doesn't want to be there.

  • i didn't know dumies have babies oh wait i got kids nevermind

  • IT IS TRAINING. Read the info on it *rolls eyes*

  • Comment removed

  • I think it was for training

  • obviously? its training

  • Well Duh. We have similar simdolls at our school to help us practice certain situations before actually encountering them. They can program the dolls to say thiings/scream but clearly it isn't going to be the same as the real thing - this way you've already gone through the motions once before you're in a situationi that isn't calm at all.

  • Did you even read the description? It's for teaching the nurses to deliver a baby. It's training. Do you think it would be a good idea to have a nurse whos never practied work with a REAL women?

  • i had twins and TRUST ME, its not that calm
