Yes, the S is for Sport mode. Basically, it puts the car in a lower gear and you can rev to higher rpms before it upshifts. Not very economical, but always worth the fun! :-)

Good man, you showed what inside the glove box looks like. I've been searching for a video to see that as my 2009 polo has a tiny glove box but it looks a lot bigger on this new polo.

@MrSebcheng123 I can answer your question very well.

Depends what are u going for. If your going for driving performance (engine, pick up etc) and handling, the VW beats the CIVIC.

The downside or the VW Polo 1.2 is that it's not very elegant exterior (15" rims looks ugly), small and dull interior (only can fit 4 nicely, 5 would be very squeezy).

In summary, if you really insist on performance and handling but do not mind the size and looks go for VW, but if you need a family car, CIVIC.
