Rebuilding vacant lots in Detroit which there are plenty of. Is good for the Detroit Economy because it puts people to work. And encourages people to come back. Because they represent new homes.

Im confused as to how voting, led to three buildings being set on fire, and later an artist using the left overs to create art. I personally really appreciate this piece of work, although I recently drove by and gave it another look, but being winter time, it made everything look like a pyschadelic post-apocalyptical setting.

cont. UNIONS on the other hand limit productivity, create a divisive work enviroment,reduce job duties which makes companies less effecient and competitive. Unions complain about compensation for CEO'S but why are you not hearing what Union leaders make? Unions have deep socialist and communist connections, this in itself is Anti American.Yes early on unions did have a purpose but unions in America are no longer needed. Union's are dying due to thier GREED and IGNORANCE, just like Detroit .

cont. the thing most people do not keep in mind is CEO pay mostly bonuses(stock options) due to the fact the government limits the deductabilty of CEO pay, government interferance helped created higher pay packages and these pay packages are voted on by stock shareholders(PART OWNERS) of the company and the board the shareholders put in place. CEO's are paid to create protit and grow the company that equals more jobs and more tax collected and new bussiness created to sustain these new workers.

Do you really think the CEO's pay makes or breaks a company? Highly paid CEO's earn their pay just like the top basketball players,boxers.comedians,movie stars, singers ect. who get paid probablly BETTER then most CEO's and have less responsibilty. Union workers are not paid like the COMMON MAN they are OVERCOMPENSATED! The common man works for much less and still get's by just fine. Unions dues are mostly used to buy votes and sway policy, just look at union spending during this election!!

All the DEREGULATION of CORPORATIONS and the INCENTIVES given to the corporations to send the plants to MEXICO and other countries caused the problem. And people like YOU who buy into the idea that CORPORATIONS will regulate themselves in an ethical manner if just left to do so. People like YOU who consider helping your neighbor lift themselves up (hand UP not hand OUT) is wasteful.

@Aer Greedy unions broke the backs of these business that wanted to compete and stay alive in these cities. Are you blind?
