One thing I will never forget is one comic where he's fighting Batman (think it was an early Suicide Squad issue but I could be wrong) where Batman baited him by pointing out that Deadshot is a world class marksman but that he always misses him (Batman). Batman ended by saying "don't you realize you always pull your shots around me". It really got under Deadshot's skin. :)
Deadshot is voiced by Michael Rosenbaum in the Justice League cartoons who also voices the Flash. Rosenbaum stated he was a voice impression of Kevin Spacey, who played Lex Luthor in 'Superman Returns'. Rosenbaum also played Lex Luthor on 'Smallville', and his character's father, Lionel Luthor played by John Glover voice acted as the Riddler in 1990's Batman: TAS. Ironic.
He's also in the JL episode "Hereafter". He shows up as one of the villains raiding Metropolis. He also makes an appearance at the very end of the 2nd episode which is his best line.
Deadshot is one of my favorite characters. The period in which he became special for me was his run with the suicide squad , a Great Comic, with capital letters, the personalities of the group where so complex, the plot twists and betrayals were the order of the day. Yhat made the series believable, and the fact that you never knew what team memebers or enemies migt die on a mission.
My favorite Deadshot episode was the one when Deashot killed a corrupt US senator, because he was orderd to prevent Rick Flag From Killing Him, so he killied him instead. I dont know what was on Floyd Lawton s mind back then ( i dint read hil Limited series) could someone help me with tahat?, so the Deadshot stands in front of a Dozen cops and provokes them into fire him , he dindt die, of course, but all in all it was a powerful issue. Suicide Squad rules ( hey i like the all)
How could that not be Deadshot? Anyways, could've done without the Pirate's theme. JLU was awesome, but didn't do Lloyd justice...no pun intended. A clipshow from the comics mixed or alone would've been cooler. And "Hey, Man, Nice Shot" by Filter...or something as the song.
You're a moron then because that IS Deadshot. I have the eps he's in, I know for a fact that's Deadshot. Who the hell could look at this vid and actually say Deathstroke?
Deadshot is such a cool character. So complex and mysterious. I know that he isn't as funny as Deadpool, but Floyd could definatly inflict a suprise gunshot to the head if need be.
Seriously, I do love Deadshot and since he's a Batman villain, I do hope to see him in the next Batman movie! But I do agree with what mewferret said, I would love to see a Copperhead video, 'cause he's an awesome snake-man!
I don't mean to be negative, but i like the Deadshot from the Secret Six more than the JLU version, just cause, although it's a kids show, they make him look like a punk. Lol, this is pretty pointless, laterzz.
I don't see how that's possible when Deadshot appeared first in Batman #59 (June/July 1950) while Deadpool appeared much later in New Mutants #98 (February, 1991).
Good video. The clips were good and music unfitting but overall, it was ok.
Good point. But thats just the comics. You have to take into account that in most carttons deadshot is a more serious person i=unlike the one in this one. deadpool wasw always the merc with the mouth.

It's more to show that...
1. Whatever Batman said is probably to graphic to put on TV.
2. Batman is good at scaring the living shit out of anybody with merely a few words.

Awesome work, but it might've worked a little better without the voice clips spliced in with the music.
Nightingale2814 5 years ago
Maybe but Deadshots wisecracks are what makes his character one of my favorites so I tried to include them.

Ok, I agree. I never typed Deadshot was the merc with the mouth. That moniker belongs to Deadpool.
Inutenma 3 years ago
No, I know. But as you can see in this episode. He is obvioulsy trying to be a smart ass like deadpool. I think.

Deadshot is awesome, and a underappreciated villain 5/5
