I really love my Apogee One. It's one of those products you get not sure what to expect and it kind of blows you away. I never thought I'd use the internal condenser for more anything serious but it's good enough that if you've captured a really good take you can certainly use it in a finished track - but then a really good preamp and a so-so mic has always beaten a killer mic through a crappy preamp.
