Very nice...you let the wind push you slightly off the runway centerline, but nothing to get in a twist over. Try to hold the centerline on climbout. I saw and heard a steady positive climb rate...very good, and a nice 500 FPM decent..excellent...slow retard of the power at landing is also excellent. I am 64, retired pilot (still fly for fun) with 16,000+ hours with an ATP and a double i. I would give you a grade of 92 out of 100 if you were my student. Runway centerline lost 8 points.
Well executed flight from what I see. Great experience for you. If you are looking for a career in flying though, don't waste your time and money learning on conventional instruments. Find an FBO that rent aircraft with full glass displays like the Garmin 1000 for example. Todays flying has more to do with computer programing than what was in my days. The programing has to come natural when your flying in the soup or you will be too distracted to be safe. Too many accidents due to this.
This makes me think of the book by Charles Lindbergh. He Talks about the early airmail days of the 1920's where they had no luxurious instruments and routinely flew through bad weather. BTW good job dood.
Congrats on the skills you've learned. I'm a student pilot flying solo now, only I had to wait till I hit 40. I wish I did this at your age. Great Job! Keep up the good flying.
I am 13, currently working on private pilot, have been flying for 3 years. I am hoping to do some instrument training as well as training for VFR flight. Anyway, nice vid and good luck.
I wish my instructor had taken me on some IFR flights during my primary training. It would have opened my eyes quite a bit. Kudos to both you and your instructor, and best wishes & many happy landings!
Had my first IFR flight yesterday from Novato, Ca to Santa Rosa Ca, in full IMC conditions. And WOW, am I ever ready to get my instrument license now!
@codyl1992 if you want to get the the commercial area you just finish the hours reqired in the private pilot and you start the instrument and then commercial in nicaragua is like 200 hours and you pay like 130 $ for each instruction flight
Nice video and landing, man. I'm 17, just got my PPL about a month ago, about six flights into instrument training. It's a blast... this is the stuff I've been waiting to do since I started flying. I'd much rather shoot an ILS into a class b or c airport following an CoEx ERJ than circle a house at an intersection in the middle of nowhere. Flying is just so absolutely amazing... can't wait to get into the right seat of an RJ.
Hey. I am just about to start training and i wanted to know what and students pilots licence allows you to do and how long do you think it takes to get one.
You are a very good pilot especially for being so new at it. How many hours do you have? Good job with the crosswind correction on takeoff. By the way your landing was smooth as silk. Keep up the good work. I can't weight to start my IFR flight training.
Hey thanks for that.I have about 90 hours all together and about 50 PIC.I will be adding some new ones on here soon.Well good luck on your IFR training.
dude thats pretty cool you got actual the first time you went IFR. i didnt get any actual until after i got instrument rated lol.

Nice approach, nice landing. Only if they all could be like that huh? :)

Great job by the videographer. He understands viewers want long, steady shots, not constant movement of the camera.

Very Nicely Done , Although Stalled The Flare. Overall Great Job
HarryJohnTarling 2 years ago
WTF are you talking about?? His flare was fine. It's normal for the stall horn to go off during the flare.

students pilots licence allows you to go 25NM out of your home airport, and how long it takes is about 10 to 12 weeks.
