  • Hallo,

I really like this video but did anyone know where I can find detail article about history of karate in UK from the beginning up to present day? For my black belt test I have to write a essay about it but is quite hard to find it. Maybe you can recommend some book?

Change the Would to Will. Learn it, seriously, I started 4 months ago and I'm orange belt, and I've found myself going to 2 lessons a week because I love it so much.

  • For me, his style is the epitome of how pure karate is performed at its practical best. a true master both of the art and of teaching...and a great sense of humor. very sadly missed

  • I played a lot of golf with "K" in London. A charming, delightful man, prone to fits of laughter if something amused him. I knew little of his Karate but miss him very much indeed. He loved his golf.

  • The art of one hit kill, this is not that cheap crap of nowadays.

  • I miss his earthly presence, but still feel his spirit.

  • I think the cancer was most likely genetic, Look at Mas Oyama, he died of lung cancer and I don't think he smoked a day in his life.

  • i meet him once when he was on a seminar in norway in 1995 he was a living legend

    R.I.P

  • Enoeda once let me win at a hamburg german kumite team championship for giving me full ippon breaking someones nose.i was astonished about the rules he had for himself...but somebody explained it to me.i was 17 at those days

  • Stomach cancer is more common amongst the Japanese - probably genetic.

  • No Its The High Level Of Salt Used In Japanese Cooking That Causes It, The Lowest Cancer Risk Diet Is The Mediterranean Diet...

  • Great spirit!

  • YAMATO DAMASH (SPRIT OF JAPAN)

  • Did my first two gradings under Mr Enoeda - a very scary guy with a very unpredictable sense of humour!

  • I got my shodan under Enoeda, he scared the bejesus out of me. I was only 10 but liked my mawashi.

  • You got shodan at age ten?

  • Yep. Starting training at 6/7.

  • i never got to train under Sensei Enoeda. Fortunately i have been trained under his pupils such as the Naylor Sensei's, Sensei Sherry and Sensei Poynton, and they all teach strength, not just in the body, but also in the mind.
