one of the things i love about aliens are that they are scientifically very possible i mean our own blood is acidic so if theres had more acidic compounds in it, also how can they be so strong well if they had metalic compounds in there body (we have traces of iron and zinc) then they could withstand alot of punishment and they look somewhat metallic and there tails certanlly appear metallic ,the only issue is even metal is weaker than they appear to be and the metal would melt by their blood

I've seen all the alien movies and avp movies. They never say where they're from though. They were first found on an abandon ship. The aliens usually evolve to what the face huggers attach to, so yes, I suppose you could consider most of them as most of the time, part human. Or the Predator one as part predator. And in the third one it was part dog.

Ok, I guess to dispel the whole mask thing: Facehuggers have a set of glands on the bottom that secrete a ridiculously potent acid, capable of melting through most anything in the known universe. These glands set off automatically when the Facehugger encounters any resistance while pouncing.

So, this whole thing in Alien Vs. Predator for the XBox. Where the Marine can start a grapple with the Facehugger? Not possible, hahaha. It'd just melt your hand off.
