@winnconway well thank you very very much!! sarah slean is a very very talented woman with a lot to say. a few years ago i met with a lot of hate from some of sarah's fans who said i tagged my videos unjustly. they literally said that i must be a "terrible person' and questioned my "moral intentions." regardless, it's good to meet some positive fans so thank you!!

thank you! i was aiming for defiance! but now i have a tango i have completed based off of my intro here and that might be up soon. we shall see. and yes i'm pretty sure when sarah first started performing the song she had titled it, "virginia" (tori song) but has changed it to "parasol" (tori song). many sarah and tori fans have have noticed a connection.

!!! Virginia and Parasol? Those are two of my favorite songs of all time by Tori. And love the tango you do here. It makes me want to play Bachelorette by Bjork; do you know that number? I said I would play it "soon" and that was about two months ago. Hmmm... I think it is time to bring Homogenic up on the iPod again. Great job, Ted. The annoyance at the pettiness here really brings out an "indignant showbird" element that shines. *****

In truth though, I prefer Bjork's. For Bjork, Bachelorette is a huge anchor track on her best album. For Tori, it's an afterthought B-Side during whose recording she forgot the lyrics. Much as I love Tori, it would be so unfair to Bjork to elevate Tori's in this instance.
