लाँघा व माँगणियार समुदाय के लोक कलाकार मूलतः मुस्लिम होते हुए भी अपने अधिकतम गीतों में हिंदु देवी-देवताओं की तथा हिंदु त्योहारों की बढ़ाई करते हैं और 'खमाचा' अथवा 'कमयाचा' नामक एक खास वाद्य के प्रयोग करते हैं जो सारंगी का ही एक प्रतिरूप है। इसे घोड़े के बालों से बने गज को इसके तारों पर फ़ेरकर बजाया जाता है।
