LOL hell here hell there. the battle of cherbourg wasnt hell if you compare eith other balles. The most horrible batlles in ww2 were korsun, romania and stalingrad

All battles were bad, but why are you just counting the well know ones? the bloodiest ww2 battle wasnt stalingrad, no in stalingrad most died but in wounded an killed Battle of Dniepr Sept1943 was worse, 2.250.000 sodier on both sides wounded and killed.

Smolensk also late 1943, 350000 german and 450000 russian losses.

Romania was alos very very horribel, 560000 axis losses and just about 170000 russian.

There are no accurate german numbers, some say 850000 but thats much to high.

I got these numbers form many years fo expericence by reading ww2 books and in some case the internet. I have been reading about ww2 since Im 7 and you really have to understand that there were other battles that stalingrad, moscow and lenigrad on easzern front.
