  • Well done, Guy. Definitely a tale of the unexpected!

  • I liked this short film... Wow!

  • I saw the 'secret' coming, but it was still a very good short.

  • This is almost the same as one of my graduation films from northumbria this year take a little look guys and see what you think :D thanks ust type in Playtime max cooper or playtime short film or even playtime steven sinclair

  • Best short movie ever! Respect from kazakhstan.

  • terrible. Like something a high-school junior project might get a C- on.

  • That twist was no expected.

  • just ok i would say

  • very good short one of the best i have seen the acting was good and the twist was amazing thank you for sharing!

  • good portrayal of psychosis after traumatic loss. good short!

  • Pretty good. Very sad.

  • omg that was terribly sad and absolutely brilliant !!!!!

  • Wow! That was sad.

  • Wow..., that was sad...

  • Maybe I'm not too good at predicting but I didn't see it coming. I thought they were going to tell him that he was fired from the job and that's why everyone looked so upset. Wasn't sure but I enjoyed that.

  • so sad.

  • I loved the guests performance

  • To be honest, i thought it was pretty predictable.., still good though

  • Wow,have to take a breathe before I can write a comment.

  • sad but i loved it

  • so good and so sad!!

  • pretty poor short

  • *sad

  • I totally saw the twist coming, a few minutes after the guest arrived I was like oh I get where this is going.

  • Such an unexpected, sad twist to the end.

  • oh my.

    shocking.

  • wow, simply good!

  • I was drawn to the intensity! Well done!

  • amazing! the tension throughout the entire film was perfect, it really made me feel uncomfortable, in a good way, awesome twist, did not see it coming at all! awesome short film!

  • Shocking!

  • wow.

  • that was sad

  • Very good, love the way that everything is in Mark's head until he is pulled back to reality. A nice twist!

  • that was good.

  • this was very good nice job

  • I dont blame Mark. Some things are too hard to let go, especially if it's someone you love.

  • Really nice, guys.

  • All i can say is wow

  • that was pretty dam sad, i have to admit tho, i thought i had it figured out, then when the friend threw up i kinda thought "carolitta use to be a guy!!" lol then it got all depressing..

  • Very well done

  • pretty good~

  • I figured it out when they showed the three people in the elevator. For some reason thats the first thing that popped into my head.

  • ...you figured out that Carlotta was actually an illusion in Mark's mind, that she was dead from the accident that caused his new scar???

You are amazing! That's the kind of detective work that would put Sherlock Holmes, Ellery Queen, Quincy AND 'Murder She Wrote' to shame.

    ...how did you know?

  • Dude thats awesome how'd u do that?

  • wow... omigosh.... that was pretty intense... poor mark. i still don't understand why his friends threw up. that was jst wierd and insensative

  • that was sad, but good

  • damn the end is a twist that wil get u

  • And now for the twist...he eats his guests!

  • This was just amazing :D

  • i cant watch movies.. only 10 mins..

  • i dont get it'

  • There's a lot to commend about this, but I think the narrative was a bit obvious.

  • this is pretty boring for a 11 year old

  • I thought they were going to tell him HE was dead. Caught me by surprise. Well done!

  • Very well done but pretty obvious really!

  • WELL DONE! AMAZING!

  • Had to watch it 4 times but finally got it the fourth time.

  • Hey, "A" for effort there, TripleGangstaX3Mitze. :D

  • Was great wonderfeul amazing acting. didn't see it coming.

  • Very good short, I was totally surprised at the ending. I love to watch movies that do not have the expected ending. Please do more!

  • Well done...

  • wtf!!! took a minute, but now that i get it ook, great performance

  • Seriously, I thought they might raise an ethical issue like whoz the dad kind of thingy. but - totally unexpected...

    well done...

  • interesting to watch and enjoyed it but very predictable. i called it a couple minutes in.

  • Did the first guy just exit through the coat closet???

    Otherwise bravo!!!

    :)

  • Needed a little more time for the transition, to explore the characters emotional threads, nonetheless BRAVO! Brilliant! Think the actors, writers, and director have a gift. Keep making them!

  • Idiotic

  • omg.

  • Heilige katzensheisse.....

  • well done.

  • i didnt see it coming. great plot!

  • it was full of suspense! amazing!

  • really really beutiful

the whole film is worth every second

    love the ending

  • the theme was old but presented in such a manner that was really fresh

  • aww that was soo sad, but beautiful

  • why did the guy go throught up when he said that they where going to have a baby ?....

  • SPOILER!!!!!!

Because he knew that she really wasn't there. And the thought of Mark talking about his dead wife and him having a baby was enough to make him sick.

  • it was really nice movie...unbelivable i was so sad!!!

  • This is a great film... it really made me uncompfortable and sad... it was perfectly effective.

  • it's the ridiculous beautiful mind myth, that you can "prove" the truth to someone who's is mentally ill. If he's delusional, he won't admit to himself that she just proved it to him! he'll just make up some excuse - "what are you talking about, she wasn't in that chair, she just walked out to get coffee."

  • I loved it, it kept me glued to my seat till the end, when she asked about the incident, that's when i could guess the ending...but two main things i loved about this film was the brilliant Lighting and the fantastic acting..

  • oh that was kinda sad.. and a bit scary. maybe because of the sound.

  • One word: Brilliant!

  • I had to watch this a couple of times to get it but once I did i kicked myself. This is so clever and the acting is brilliant, especially christina!

  • hahahaahahahahaha!

  • I didn't see it coming - really cool

  • wow!

  • I loved the suspense (very well done) that was built towards the end. I was so anxious to know what was wrong and was a little happy that I got it just before she asked about the scar. Great storytelling!

  • Thanks for the spoiler!

  • i read a lot of unpublished short stories and at least a third of them have a similar plotline to this- i thought the film was very professionally made though

  • could someone please explain?

  • Watched it again, now I understand what is happening, the first time i watched it was like "on and off" so I didn't get the whole thing. finally set out to watch and it's quite a good short movie.

  • ok, not an original plot at all. but I rly wish I had a camera and knew ppl who could act for me, lol. Your actors did a great job. Even the script was good, it was just the plot that was a but cliche'd. I loved the directing and editing, that was amazing.

  • Get a video camera, make a video and see if you can compete.

  • I LOVE british films. Its awesome. They make sensational story lines.

  • i have to say i totally agree with what everyone has said so far so man i really have nothing else to tell you except that it was intertaining.

  • I liked the way that this was directed, and the lightig is beautiful. The ending was a good idea, but could have been handled a little better

  • Maybe the ending twist has been seen before but the overall story is a twist with the whole friends acting weird situation bringing something fresh to it. Acting, directing and cinematography were excelently done. 4 stars.

  • omg im so confused...that was great but confusing...

  • Good but also predictable. Saw it coming.

  • i didn't how did u. i thought she ran in to him

  • OMG

    wow

  • i thought the secret the friends were about to tell was that carlotta and mark were siblings! had the idea when that guy threw up upon hearing that they were gonna have a baby. and that plot is so cliched already, didn't think anyone'd use it again. though the acting, camera perspective, and directing portrayed it well.

it was a good watch. 4 stars and a fave :D

  • I saw the twist coming from a mile away. :/

  • Well, it'd be new to many people. Your comment is just an unecessarily harsh summary of the 'this has been done' point that gets made on every page. Borderline trolling.

  • im sorry im slow, what the heck happened? thnx

  • Wow! Excellent job. The twist at the end was very good; I never saw it coming!

  • Spoiler alert: Fantastic! I especially liked the acting of Carlotta when Mark was told; it was like she realised it herself for the first time. Excellent. The acting and directing all round was great too. I have to watch it again!

  • That was crazy, so good though.

    5 stars, and a favorite

  • Nice, gay music at the end coulda been better tho

  • Classy piece of writing and clever direction to keep the twist concealed. Ace piece!

  • aww that's sad, but good!

  • lmao..

  • 5 stars for this video! Well done!

  • Tell Mark to come up with an original concept.

  • wow...thatw as awesome

  • THIS WAS GOOD!!! Did NOT see that one coming!

  • i know!

    that was sad!

  • That was definitely interesting.

  • aww so sad

  • I loved this video! The ending was mesmerizing! Favored and rated 10 stars all the way :)

  • That was a surprise? Wow people, no offense, but it was obvious 2 mins in...

  • Same here. It was obvious. Way way ahead. The scar showed he may have had head trauma way in the beginning. Just by the way they didn't look at her at all the entire time, and only responded to him.

  • I really liked that! Totally unexpected.

  • nice surprise ending. great film!

  • Dude, that was awsome.

  • Great film! :-)

I tried to figure out what the "thing" could be, but that I did not see coming...

  • great work!!

    didnt expect that

  • That was freakn awesome!

  • Sorry it's not South Park, dumbass.

  • Wow that was truely amazing i never would of guessed what was going to happened until right near the very end, truely stunning short piece of work. xD

  • wow!

    I wasn't expecting that!

  • wow very nice!

  • Oh my god.

  • I'm a highschool student in a broadcasting program and I found this film to be somewhat enjoyable... I didn't really feel any sort of emotional 'til the end, but, then again, that's the twist, isn't it??? The acting could've been a tad bit better and I think little perks could've been done better and more believable (ie. he gives his friend his coat and then he walks out of the same door???) The music was on key, though; it fit well with this production... Overall, I give it a 4/5... Great job!!

  • that was great ....other comments say it was predictable but i never saw that coming. i liked that film very much.

  • Clicked on it yesterday. Cut it short after about 2 minutes into it. Found it again today and watched it in its entirety. Very good! It appears that Christina was only an aquaintance, but because of her action she is now Mark's only "true friend" for causing him to begin to accept the real truth. True, she had nothing to loose in telling him, but would you have? could you have?

  • That's a very good point.

  • Predictable but well well acted.

  • I didn't find it predictable at all! I was suspecting he had commited a crime of some sort, but I would have never guessed it would end like it did. It was a great short film!

  • mark took the coat from the door that's supposedly the closet but then the the guy walks out of the same door.

    nice film!

  • ;_;

  • really well done albeit utterly predictable as of about 3:45... i still liked it very much: fine acting by the guy who played mark and very well made, it looked great.

    keep it up!

  • Wow that was deep and very sad. Im glad that I saw it though.

  • Brilliant, I figured it out a second before we found out lol

  • That was great!

  • BRILLIANT.

  • thanks for spoiling the ending...damn that woould of been good tho

  • Ik not even going to watch it.

    Brill? What you mean?

  • i demand 10 minutes of my life back.

  • i liked this alot.

  • Really good y'all. That was quite enjoyable.

  • Where's Rod Serling?

    Or M. Night Shamalan...

  • I worked out what was happening before it did.

  • i love the Scottish accent haha

  • I loved the look & feel change towards the end.. it was like a perfect picture, suddenly broken.

    Quite brill.

  • my god, use the full word, you sound like an idiot when you say "brill"

  • ya gonna put a illiant on the end

  • very well produced & acted. were you involved in the making of this film? i am a composer & am offering my music fro free to film makers to use for free. just a mention in the credits. all my music on the net right now is free & can be downloaded from SoundLantern audios site. all the best for a great new year, Padraic Lynch

  • Wow, I must be slow if drorharush saw it from the beginning...

Pretty nice story though. Actors had great feel and you could really feel the emotion. Though...the apartment doesn't seem right...filmed on a set? completely irrelevant, but just curious.

  • it nic vdo

  • The end was obvious from the beginning.

  • Reminds me of "The Sixth Sense". Great production ! I didn't like the camera/light change at 8:55 though.

  • I thought you guys did a nice job! You captured the solemn feel of how that would have played out and the fact that, even his friends, had a tough time facing him. I also thought it was well acted.
