Thank you so much for this. I love the song and you really helped me to enjoy playing it. You are very good and you teach well. Keep doing exactly what you do. Thanks again.
my comment is, offer some better advanced lessons, more eclectic range of choice, some classic pieces would be nice, and maybe some hendrix, santana, SRV, etc. i have a hard time finding something i would even want to hear , much less play. i learned the chicken fried intro just for a challenge, and i don't even like the song.
Nice playing, but why not show the chords of the song? At six minutes the viewer gets to see how you play an A chord. The nuances and anecdotes are tedious to me if I don't have the chords. Just seems like a hook sales pitch for your website. Well, if your videos are this long winded without the meat and potatoes, who needs the seasonings?
@randolphslinky - I may be going out on a limb here, but this could be a "preview video" or "sample" as stated in the description. It's designed to capture your interest. If you ARE interested, you go to the website and PURCHASE the full lesson... just like I'm about to do.
nice, very nice . . . anyway, I'm from Brazil, and I hope for lessons like everytime. And you got quality and teachear's way, brother! God Bless you for all!
i always wanted to play guitar since i was a young gapher, there was always music in my house, it wasn't until i found out i wasn't good at sports- i had to find something, it was music- keep it up- at least now, you can share your stuff with the world without having a recording contract

I have a book that teaches the whole record and it notates the thumb playing the 6th string a E/G# and that sort of forces me to play with my thumb again at the Bm7. I have no idea if anyone actually plays it like this, or if Eric actually did it this way, but it seems to be getting my through the learning stage. haha
I suspect it's pronounced in the French way, fairly close to "scene." In French, that's a homophone of cygne, swan, so it'd be reasonable thing to name a boat--a bit of a pun. But I'm not sure.
You don't smile at all while you play the song in the intro. It's so upbeat and you can obviously smile... So why?
You seem to play it at speed fairly well, but you really need to practice playing with a metronome if you're trying to sell these instructional vids. Your rushing drives me insane when you set the beat at 80.
ur lessons r good but too expensive

Nice teaching. I like the detail you give. Much more helpful than just giving chords. Thanks!
