  • Thumbs up for the smiling goat at 1:23

  • @Azrafael laughed out loud, thank you!

  • i played AC but stop mixing borgias with AC. Borgias existed, ac is a fiction.

  • This is a "boring" video. =p

  • this may be weird

but i know the Game AC by looking at comments lol

  • Mystic and beautiful - but I expected nothing less from Trevor Morris. :)

The german Borgia series we got here is great. But still, I'm looking forward to seeing the Showtime version. Can anyone tell when it will be out in German language??? All I found on Amazon was the English DVD and that would be kind of difficult to me...

  • This is the BEST opening for a show EVER. <3

  • @ilysfmdemitri have you seen the game of thrones intro?

  • I love the borgias! such a good series.. so dark and beautifully done. Really bringing out the curruption of christianity lol. i love it

  • i watched the all series in a day.

  • This is a badass opening ((:

Makes me wanna buy a time machine!

  • can some one tell us all the names of the painting pls????

  • I love this series. I can't wait for next season. This series made me love Assassin's Creed Brotherhood even more.

  • Thumbs up if you think that Ezio should be in this series

  • @Galdure Only if Cesare can have Ezio head on pike in end of the series.

  • @Galdure what about adam jensen or gordon freeman? or batman?

  • What are the names of paintings

    0.42 and 1.07?

  • So happy for Trevor Morris who win an Emmy for this music!!!!!

  • This is on par with Rome...though Rome had more visual effects the drama and political manouverings are exactly the same! keep these high quality historical dramas going (way better than the tudors and more accurate)

  • I love this freakin show, so awezsomez!

  • The best fucking show on tv right now

  • Love that song... It sounds epic

  • I showed UbiGabe the Borgias yesterday. He was astounded.

  • This show is soooo stoopid, it historically inaccurate, it's not even mentioned that Rodrigo Borgia is a Templar - GAWD!

  • @jameshrave

i agree its inaccurate but i enjoyed it. by the way Borgia was never a templar that's just the AC story line i love those games but you wanna talk about inaccurate? the protrayls of the Borgia family in that is highly Fiction!

  • @hitmanlover It was not highly fiction as you say. Borgia was really a corrupted pope ruling Rome along with his son, also conspiring with France at that time, betrayed by own son Cesare who took the power but got exiled to Viana and vowed to return. Basicaly if you take away all the pieces of Eden, Templars and Assassins from the game AC Brotherhood then it sort of becomes a history lesson

  • @hitmanlover Gotta agree with SuperIceCold, the vast majority of history in that game is really accurate. All the descriptions of historic sites, as well as big events that happened were all quite true. The developers did their research.

  • @hitmanlover I was making a funny...

  • I just started watching the borgias tonight on sky atlantic and theres totally a shot from the tudors opening credits, when Holliday Grainer's name comes up, the bit below it is Natalie Dormer's neck i swear.

Also at 1:15, that's peter o'toole's hands from the tudors season two opening credits

  • @anon01081986 I double checked and yap it is!

  • I just started watching the borgias tonight on sky atlantic and theres totally a shot from the tudors opening credits, when Holliday Grainer's name comes up, the bit below it is Natalie Dormer's neck i swear.

  • I love BOTH "The Tudors" and "The Borgias", both are exquisite and amazing shows and both are all very exciting historical figures. The only thing Iike more about The Borgias, is that their costumes are actually accurate than they are in The Tudors.

  • its also far better then game of the thrones. boring series

  • There is one shot at 0:48 which is from The Tudors opening (season 1) at 0:40, when the woman lays on the bed (or man :P). :)

  • i need the guitar sheet for this. its so awesome :D

  • love the sound of the spanish guitar!! love the song !! love The Borgias itself!!

  • fuck! THAT WAS AWSOME!

  • the tudors opening is better

  • @harrypotterinnarnia

    You're kidding, right?

  • @zzzolll no, im not

  • @harrypotterinnarnia I think you are.

  • @zzzolll honestly im not...to be fair, ive not seen this yet, it isnt it england :(

  • @harrypotterinnarnia but we are talking about the opening, not the show itself.

  • i saw the first 2 episodes. It kinda has a little bit of Assasin's Creed feel to it

  • @melediv only that the assasin there is way clever then enzio

  • @THEKAKI2012

Can said assin climb and scale as wonderful as Ezio? I think not.

  • @Barbe c'mon gamer..back to real life plz

  • @TigerWarior

Shh, you! We're talking funny stuff here! :D!

  • What an EPIC TV show!!!

  • poor lukrecja

  • For me, this intro is tied for best opening with the one from HBO's Rome.

  • @ELcapalla2 Havent seen Game of Thrones Intro then, i assume? BTW i love both of those as well :P

  • @ScorpionXIII Oh shit, make that three tied for first!!!

  • I love this, and it's like a photograher is looking at old worn out pictures, very beautiful, very artistic, and the music is wonderful, great job!

  • i think the opening sequence for the Borgias was just fantastic, the way it reflected the time period and showed viewers both the beauty and the brutality of the Renaissance through the artwork, which the series captured magnificently.

  • Who was named the song?

  • it's so funny that showtime was so unoriginal that they had to use clips from the tudors opening in the borgias. like anne boleyn at 0:27 and the other at 0:49

  • @palominodream I noticed that too.

  • Comment removed

  • I just made a dream cast for season two of the show, have a look at it.

  • whats the name of the song! plss:D

  • Subtitles are a absolutly masterpiece!!!!!!

  • This opening is a fucking masterpiece.

  • @Slikvarius fuck yeah

  • @Slikvarius

I wish the quality was louder

  • @Slikvarius I absolutely agree.I found myself rewinding my DVD atleast twice to watch it all over again.

  • Between this show and Game of Thrones right before it, the Lord's day of rest has become Sex and Violence Night! :)

  • If anyone's interested in good The Borgias recaps, I stumbled upon a site offering just that called The Benevolent Clicktator. Google it. It's a decent site, well worth the read.

  • the music is amazing

  • I don't know if any of you noticed but this part 0:28 is from The Tudors opening credits. It's Henry's handing caressing Anne's neck. I KNEW IT!

  • What song is it?

  • AMAZING...

  • Uh....am I the only one who noticed that at 28 seconds it is clearly Natalie Dormer's neck from the Tudors promo? They probably added an earring...but it's the exact same.

  • this series reminds me of Rome, which was another epic series

  • @eddvella so true!!! i loved that series!! i have the whole series on DVD.

  • i really like the theme song! anyone have any idea what it is?

  • great intro!

  • It is a far better series than the Tudors, and the setting itself is far more interesting and intriguing than that of the Tudors. The dynamics at play are also very different, and in my opinion revolves more around Cesare than Rodrigo himself. 15th century Italy is an amazing time.

  • @fluroe

indeed the tudors SUCKED the Borgias are far better they also have better actor's for the borgias then the tudors and yes 15th century is indeed an amazing theme and time

  • @fluroe all of rennaiscense is amazing it really is a rebirth of the world :)

  • @fluroe

and whats funny is the show wasnt Filmed in Italy but i know what you mean it is an amazing show. tho i wouldnt compare it to the Tudors they both are better in its own way.

  • @fluroe are you sure? I'm a little apprehensive to watch this show because i thought the tudors was so great.

  • @fluroe

and whats funny is the show wasnt even filmed in Rome or Italy. just wanted to put that out there great show tho!

  • @fluroe It really matters on your personal opinion. You can't judge which period of history was intriguing and which period wasn't. You can say that you like this period but how do you know that this IS the best? Now I love the Tudors and it is perfect for me, but I don't go around judging periods of history and telling everyone what is better and what is not. You should know the difference between voicing your opinion and judging.

  • there are scenes from the tudors opening:O

    e.g. 0:26 -> natalie Dormers part, 0:48 or 1:15

  • @Cathiiliiciiouz

1:15 is in season 2 of the Tudors.

    Is part of the Pope

  • I liked it, it isn't as good as "The Tudors" though, but it's still awesome.

  • i've got to see this show. Pity i don't have Showtime.

  • @BibleJoker2Face Fear not....the DVD box set should be out by the holidays.

  • am I wrong or some scenes are from the opening titles from the tudors? Like 00.29... that look like natalie dormer's neck...

  • @copperhead88kb ya i just notice that too

  • @copperhead88kb i was thinking the same thing!!!

  • @copperhead88kb At 1:15 is another Tudors scene from when Pope Paul III was in the credits.

  • Fantastic!
