The Insurance Industry is as bad as Wall Street...they have milked the masses of US citizens to line their own golden pockets and are in cahoots with the Health Care Industry by raising medical costs through the roof to increase their billion dollar profits!!!!!
Bravo to these brave people for speaking truth to power! It takes real guts and conviction to do that. Not only are they standing up for what's right, they're helping to inform people in the process. THIS is what it's going to take to make a real democracy.
This is now a country for the 1% what ever happened to equality of the land? The 1% runs the US and they screw over the 99% bcuz they can get away with it.
@iversonmatthew that really hurts. I know several folks in the same boat. It is not something anyone wants to have to go through. And I am sympathetic. My sympathy won't pay the bills. And hospitals, doctors are more expensive than anything. I am just as upset that insurance companies place obstacles and caps and do anything they can to avoid providing services that we pay them for. The answer seems to lie in socialized medicine, but that may ultimately be a trap.
@cannonballziggy Worst part is I am 100% disabled but because I tried to work I made just enough to not qualify for social security or medicare. I now I am super doomed. I should have just given up and taken my $600/month to live on.
@voyeurdug I agree. Without a coherent foundation, a solidly valid point, and a real solution, this movement has no purpose except to provide occasional entertainment.
Lol look at that stupid guard shuffling around the speakers. And when they finally kick them out another just takes their place. It's like trying to cut the head off a hydra. Another head just sprouts back up again.
Awesome! Our Music Video "Do You Follow?" which includes "Occupy Wall Street" footage and supports the cause is available NOW! View it at OfficialCypherSon
This video is comical. And that seems to be the point of the whole "Occupy" fiasco: make us laugh. But even the same comedy when repeated over and over becomes stale and unfunny. These jokesters need to go back to the drawing board and think up some other funny stuff to make us all laugh. The "Occupy" gimmick is great comedy. LOL!
@ThisWeekInFascism Scared of what? I'm amused. These clowns are quite entertaining, but that's about it. I think the whole thing is kind of funny. Unfortunately it's nothing to be taken seriously. I'm sure the so-called occupiers are well off enough to pay the fines, do the time, etc. Otherwise they'd be at their jobs like the rest of us who support the US economy.
@ThisWeekInFascism you said it. A bunch of children. Lots to learn. Mimicking the most cowardly element of society. Here's a clue: you want things to change, change them and stop whining. Grow some real cajones and solve the problems. So far there's been nothing productive about jumping on this bandwagon. Zero solutions offered here. Solve the problems. Don't be foolish by making things worse for everyone. These kids are being misled by rotten apples. Only takes a few.
@cannonballziggy Yeah stop whining. Instead, lick some boots, be a whore for the rich, vote against your own best interests and be a good German. Become a rightist.
Only about 60% of those 16 to 24 years old are in the labor force (those employed or seeking jobs). Their unemployment rate is 18%. The real overall unemployment rate in the entire country is 23% [The Great Depression rate was 23%] when you count everyone who wants a job and can’t get it! - themoneyparty [dot] org/main/?p=3053
That was awesome. We must get single Payer. You don't know hell until you've been turned away from health care when sick and dying. these people controlling this are scum. Many deaths are easily avoidable.
Occupy was an interesting demonstration a few weeks ago. Now it's old, disjointed, and pretty much a waste of all our time. They have no coherent or cohesive message, and moreover, they have no solutions to offer. I wouldn't be surprised to see Coca Cola sponsoring their now meaningless disruptions. They have been co-opted by the lamest extreme groups and have become a joke.
@cannonballziggy Spoken like a true bird brained propaganda parrot that has no idea about what is really going on within the ever growing #Occupy movement. Check out OccupyWallStreet website. They have not been co-opted. They are coherent. They have many messages. And they are finding solutions. Occupy is here to stay. Get used to it!
@RawFoodKevin you can parrot all the propaganda you want. Your honesty is refreshing about your inability to grasp what's really going on. Keep marching to these drummers if you like. But don't be shocked at where it all leads. LOL.
@cannonballziggy The propaganda parroting is all yours, not mine. You claim to know what is going on, yet you fail to say exactly what is, other than the approved fascist propaganda. Get back to us when you get your next propaganda talking point from your fascist masters. We need another good laugh.
The top 1 percent have the best houses, the best educations, the best doctors, and the best lifestyles, but there is one thing that money has not bought them: an understanding that their fate is bound up with how the other 99 percent live.
Beautiful example of a "flash-mic" tactic. We used this in the Capitol rotunda of the State Capitol of Illinois. Occupy Springfield Illinois managed to read a good 10-minutes of script by trading off mic leaders. They didn't seem to get that the leader was unimportant, until it was too late.
7 senators changed their vote on SB397 because of that action, and they tabled the issue for later. We intend to have 1,000 people there when they do.
Wherever they go, they cannot hide. The 99% are everywhere, and the elites WILL BE FORCED to listen.
