  • Henry can often state the obvious and he sure takes his time doing it in this video. He also has an innocence and profundity that come about because he is willing to reveal his flaws. Anais certainly learned from him as initially she found him crude and vulgar. He certainly awakened what already existed in her he woke her out of the toil of Parisian subservience and repression.

  • Thanks for this fine upload my friend!

  • He didn't say that the neurotic man was the man of the virtue. He was quoting someone else and wanted to talk about that idea but was clearly not specifically endorsing it.

  • @misOBGYNist “I do not want to be the leader. I refuse to be the leader. I want to live darkly and richly in my femaleness. I want a man lying over me, always over me. His will, his pleasure, his desire, his life, his work, his sexuality the touchstone, the command, my pivot." Anais She was doing what many women do while talking to a man, becoming the stage and spotlight for him. That doesnt mean she has no voice.

  • Rubbish. Men don't need women to do that & generally, they certainly do not do so. That's bullshit they spew to seem like some sort of martyr, catalyst, or power behind the scenes. The truth is, that's nothing but compensation for not measuring up. Of course she has a voice, and boy did she use it to talk a lot of shit. By the way, what she said was more about getting fucked than anything else. She wanted feminist bs "equality" except in bed. Typical. (cont...)

  • @fbvamp Cont...Btw, if you can't see what those words really mean between the lines, you're blind. She used men to succeed. Even many feminists know that, which is why she's so controversial among them to this day. feminists hate when women use men to succeed...openly, that is. They'd much rather use men covertly, then claim self-sufficiency & autonomy...

  • Interesting. And we are only now acknowledging the plasticity of the mind in western science.

  • What year was this filmed? Please let us know if you can.

  • @doublejnyc According to fashion trend and Anais Nin was extreme on the top of it this might have been filmed during the early 60s...
