  • not worth the chance of getting lactate acidois if this medication did have this serious sideeffect i would take it.. there was a drug phertmin was discontinued in 1977 and metaformin is very simular

  • @HappyGina

Yeah I thought it was a sneaky sales pitch for

some fake pills to flush out toxins in my skin or

something. Good thing it has 60days money

back guarantee so I wont have to worry if it wont

work. And I bit the bullet and was amazed by its

result! It made my skin looked smoother and those

cellulite were all gone permanently. Anyway, u

mispelled the site name. That should be:

    StopCelluliteNow.info

  • I know atleast ten person, who could lose 10 to 12 kilos in a 3 months period, by very simple method, they take breakfast, no lunch, then dinner, but the food quantity remaind like before for breakfast and dinner, another person who left the lunch, but increased the breakfast and dinner also, he didnt lose any thing, so just avoid lunch you will see it works.

  • @zombiebloodshow when i went to the ob/gyn because i thought i had pcos, she simply talked to me about my symtoms and i got a blood test and that was it! the doctors usuly can diagnose without a ultrasound.... good luck!

  • @MsSteelersGirl ultrasound is harmless , why not

  • I started taking metformin today for obesity management. My question is once I lose my total body weight. Will I have to take the drug for the rest of my life?

  • @catherinemcclanahan Hopefully you're taking metformin as part of a weight loss management plan which includes changes to your eating habits and overall macronutrient intake. It will definitely help you lose weight, but the goal is to find and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Best of luck

  • I liked it when at 1:46 is metformin safe? yet he nod negatively back and fourth, while saying it safe for over 50 years..hmmmm?

  • @atlan61 Metformin (formerly Glucophage) is a generic drug that has been used safely for over 50 years. Nearly every diabetic who takes medication stays on this drug, even when others such as insulin may be added later. IT IS SAFE.

  • i am using it for weight loss,i just started on sunday 500mg*3, today wednesday 4th days and already 4lbs lost is this too fast?, no real side effects mainly not hungry and have to force myself to eat i make sure i eat 3 times aday.... i pea alot almost every few minutes, i drink lots of water through out the day and use fiber wise. i also take a multivitamin. oh by the way i had a big big sweet tooth appitite its gone gone...

  • i have pcos and i took metformin for two weeks one and lost 5lbs each week. i dont have the pills anymore tho so it sucks. i have no insurance so i dont know how to get more pills. any help?

  • Hi and thanks for your great video, My wife is pregnant , beginning of the 3rd month the doctor give her the metformin 500mg to be taken 2 times in a day. is it safe take it is there is any risk for n baby?

  • i take 750mg Extended Release of metformin but not losing ang weight! What is the most effective dose to help with weight loss,i have PCOS and i've heard that 750mg is not enough, its a really low dose!

  • I recently started metformin after my AC1 came back at 7.7. I have to say I am losing weight but mostly because I am SO sick from the medication. My doctor says that will subside but even with proper diet, I feel like total crap right now. I have a brother who reversed his diabetes but when he first went on metformin he too was sick as a dog. It takes some adjusting to.

  • I just started taking this for PCOS. I know it keeps my blood sugar even so I do not pig out during the day. You have to watch what you eat because it will give you the runs if you eat high carbo meal.

  • Metformin is not a weight loss drug. If you stuff your face, don't exercise and take metformin you will not lose weight.

  • @AmelieYvette most people that are on metformin have something wrong with them, such as PCOS.. i have PCOS and i have done nothing different than i did on any regular day, except taking 3 pills a day and i am losing weight from it. not everybody that is overweight "stuffs their face and doesnt excercise".

  • @16brooke1992 i have a question im 17 and i think i have pcos i sometimes wont get my period for 6 months or longer sometimes i did manage to lose weight on my own i walk reguraly i am a virgin n im afraid to go to a gynocologist idk if i spelled that right because idk how to get tested for it because i read some of the symtoms for it n i have a few like the weight issue n irregular periods bout but how does the test work

  • @zombiebloodsnow101 It's an extremely simple procedure. It's basically just an ultrasound, the same as if you are pregnant. There are other ways to check for it vaginally, but my doctor told me that since I was a virgin at the time of the test that he could just do that so I would feel more comfortable. Don't feel embarrassed at all though! It's very common and not talked about enough. I also want to say that it is possible to lose weight without taking metformin, but it is a lot easier with it

  • @zombiebloodsnow101 Also if you have any personal questions about it you can inbox me and I would be happy to answer yours questions because many doctors are very insensitive when diagnosing something and your doctor will most likely tell you straight up that you will not be able to have kids but that is definitely not the case. You will definitely be put on birth control if its PCOS and that will help with irregular periods. Also Gluten Free diets are the best for PCOS! Good luck :)

  • @16brooke1992 which 3 pills are you taking?

  • I've been taking 1000 mg. of Metformin twice a day for Diabetes plus a diabetic diet & haven't lost a pound?? I'm tall so people tell me I don't look overweight, but it's there...LOL.

  • how can i get the dr to prescribe me some metformin

  • @kim24may have your doctor check your hemoglobin AIC, do an HDL/LDL and triglycerides. If those are not within normal limits you may have the medication prescribed.

  • @3whisperedwords Actually i was prescribed the metformin in March because i was diagnosed with PCOS,they say insulin resistance is associated with it,unfortunately I havent lost any weight :(

  • very informative! Love when he says that the met prevents 8% of diabetes, he only holds up seven fingers lol.

  • @christenarena

ha ha haaa. true that. so funnnny!

  • right now i am on 500mg my stools are a bit better and i refuse to get on the scale i have not noticed much of a difference in the way my clothes fit bit i have started to workout a bit the met gives a bit of energy to me

  • I recently was put on Metformin for type II diabetes. Initially the 1st week I suffered from loose stools so changing over to the extended release tablets worked much better. Most importantly I lost 13#s in my 1st month of use without even knowing it! I stepped on and off the Drs scale 3 times, in disbelief. Blood sugars are much improved, Im sold!

  • how long before you saw the results i mean as far as your weight loss i have been on met for less that a month now

  • I avoid scales like crazy. So I was on the meds for a month and weighed at the Drs at the end of the month. Im on 2000 mg.
