Ok its true, its just a copy of all things past and great. But its definitely a positive.

Can you just think back to what we had in the 90's !?

Theres alot of good music coming out of the scene plus we have people actually playing instruments and writing music, something the British music scene is not used to !

It keeps the Spice Girls and the Westlifes and the Boyzones and the Take Thats and the What Nots at bay.

I can agree with you there to some degree, but where are the groundbreaking new acts, the progressive bands pushing music in new directions? They just copy each other and repeat each others sounds until the radio just sounds like a constant stream of jingly guitars and 'Mockney' accents.

The bands now have little ability to craft unique sounds. Musically they are generally weak and some struggle to play well live.

But on the last point, it is a slightly lesser evil than manufactured 'bands'!

So, the man hits Jonni (me) because I'm innately more cool than him. And he feels threatened by that. As you would.
