I'll agree that I'm a nobody, but I wasn't out of shape. I had to come up in weight for this fight, hence the fat. My next fight after this was at lightweight.

You are DANGEROUSLY misguided if you think sportfight training = self defence.
Addendum: In point of fact, I'd imagine an MMA/BJJ trained sportfighter is MORE likely to suffer serious injury or death in a real-world altercation due to the fact that:
a) They think they have balls the size of melons
b) They think they're TEH DEADLY because they tapped-out Joe Fighter X in their latest mangrope competition
c) They think an armbar or the mount will work against some cracked-out nutjob who won't lose a minutes sleep after poking numerous holes in them with a 6 inch shiv
Sprt fighting (BJJ) was made as a self defense, so you are wrong there. Where I train we do 'street-bjj' as well, it's a very effective street art as well as sport. Also, neal isn't and should not be ashamed. I thought this was a pretty good fight by both.

Dont rely on ground and pound, it mostly get Noobs, someone with skills wont let you throw anything and can use one of your punches to get an arm bar, kimura ect, but still pretty good job homes.
