What's happened is that her voice is much more rehearsed and refined now. She has found more of those sexy, beautiful resonant cavities in her voice box, and uses them to the fullest. And she's one of very few singers who didn't lip sync in the 60's and 70's and try to pass it off as "live". A truly great singer - YOU GO BABY!
