What is the purpose for the HSL in Turkey if the rest of the lines are like this?Man,i think you're 50 years back away from the Europe...

railways in turkey are very old.Because of wrong politics,railways were abused.How do  i know? because i'm a turk :)

The same in Romania I can tell for sure, except some upgrading works in Constanta-Curtici coridor , the rest of the infrastructure is bad. Anyway,your country developing high speed line and that is a good thing.

But is necesary to upgrade the clasic lines too for better conections and for  puting the HSL in real value.

@MrSandokany Turkish railways suffered because of wrong politics.For example former prime minister said ''Railways is a communist job,i will upgrade highways.''

Since 2002,current government is building high speed lines and upgrading the old lines(signalization,electifica­tion).But this is not good enough,railways are still suffering.

For example; current transportation minister said : there are some lines which are not maintained for 50 years.we will see the benefits of inventment in 10 years
