Hey man, I've got a twin turbo 96' RZ Supra. How reliable do you reckon a 95-98 RX-7 will be given it has in the region of 55,000-70,000 kms (34,000-43,000 miles)? What problems can I expect and are they really as bad as I hear (reliability wise). Cheers, SIC.
No they arent as bad as you would have heard, but they do require a little extra care, especially if your planning on modifying. Get on the fdrx7 forum and read up on the FAQs. Link in my description.
shit, just deleted someones comment, sorry, mistake. For the answer for him, 26K for an RS is a very good price, but i would be weary of the price as it may be near a rebuild.

Nice bro'.
So a Mazda RX-7 FD, is a Mazda RX-7 Series 6, 7 and 8?

These are series 6 and 8s.

sorry, i read that wrong.
Australians use that series terminology for the SA, FC and FD.
In Japan they actually have 6 different series, with the first being the 1992 model for the FD.

also FDs were the years between 1992 - 2003, in Australia we use a series system, with S6, S7 and S8 being the FDs.
