Some of the kills in that montage are just because of stupid people running around like they are playing COD trying to charge you for a knife kill with commando. Good video but this just shows you that both games are designed to be played differently.

If you're like ADHD and like to play solo the majority of the time, choose Mw3, if you only play with friends and are a patient person, choose battlefield. If you have the money, buy both.

I would suggest renting both of them and deciding which you like the best. Give both of them a good chance though.

@SoulsStealerMalti Yeah... players still lunge forward a bit when they execute a knife attack from a couple of "feet" away from you. It's not as bad as Commando was, but it's still in there. Nothing like a good teleport knife death to piss you off when you clearly have a bead and hit markers on a guy that's standing a good enough distance away from you that his knife should otherwise have no effect whatsoever on you in real life. A tinge annoying...

@TonyTorresTheThird Keep in mind CoD is anything but real. I think the best possible thing they could have done knifing wise is eliminate most lunge opportunities and put it like in CoD4. Lunges were there but they were rare. Sometimes you knife from point blank in MW1 and it doesnt even register, which I think is a great balancing feature of knifing in the game. But unfortunately, even though we were promised a change by Bowling, the melee system, with the exception of commando, is the same.
