I first saw this on TV late at night around '90 or '91 while in an "altered" frame of mind. It was so weird that I questioned whether or not I actually saw it when I woke up the next day. Good to know I'm not crazy, thanks for the upload!
Oh man! If that is a production cel from rather than a serigraph, I don't even want to think how valuable it might be. You may want to check into getting it insured or at least appraised!
Ha! Sing Beast Sing! Still have it on the VHS tape from International Animation Tournee. Gotta archive it to DVD some day. Its hard to see here (can't figure how to do frame advance in flash player) but when Toledo says "I hops up and marries a...glamour girl" he very briefly changes into a cheesecake glamour girl! Its around 3.56 - 3.57 but very hard to see if you don't know its there.
Yes, I caught that split second change, and was able to get a screen shot of the frame transformation to the glamour girl. You would miss it if you blink.
Thanks everyone for all of your wonderful comments. This is such a cool animation short that I just had to post it. I only saw this piece once in a theater back in the early 80s. It was shown before the main feature, of which I cant remember, because Im Mad stole the show that night, and I had been searching for it for a very long time. Glad that we have a place like YouTube to share things like this. -Bob
I have been checking online for years on and off for this. Thank you so much for posting it! I remember watching this back in the late 80's and had it on tape, but it's long gone. Thanks again!
I remember seeing this video on PBS when I was 9, when we first had cable, and again in 1993 on a fluke. Loved it ever since, and I was glad when i found the song on "The Chess Box Set." Classic material!

does anyone have the early Clay-mation video of Georgia On My Mind sung by a caracature of then-President Jimmy Carter called "Jimmy The C"?
