Hippies? No, wrong time-frame. 'Sides, no self-respecting hippy wore platforms.

I wonder if anyone was ever skewered by a tossed electric guitar...or at least beaned. It's not like throwing an acoustic around...(besides, who would do that?)

Last refrain is almost anthemic, definitely the climax of the song (starts on "one", rather than "and").
