@phrOlic42o lol...he didnt take the plate off...he never got around to mounting the plate to the bumper because the fasteners were missing...so he just left it in the window...

the ecu has it set at between 5k and 6k depends on the evo sometimes mine had it at 6k and i set it to 5500, but you can have it turned off if you want.

its a aftermarket upgrade, any evo can have it installed...

its all controlled by the ecu...you can use ecuflash and set it up if its not already equipped...

for this 03 model you just step on the gas and it does launch control without the clutch engaged...

@timmy87 its controlled by the ecu all it does is cut ignition but not fuel usually causing flames, and all the usdm models came with them at i think 4500 stock but it can be changed if you tune it

yeah i believe its holding at 4500 or higher...im guessing that its 5000...ill record it later...

so thats not the rev limiter.. thats the launch control setting holding at ... i think 4,000 revs? sweet
