Spewing Exhaust from a Class 185

why do class 185's do that with there engines ?

someone said its hunting for fuel but they always do it ,its as if someone is pushing back and thro on the throttle

i love that class 185 engine sound you can hear when it takes off

then when it pulls out of the station and the throttle is increased to full

its got to be the best engine sound ever

Shuddering 185 sound more like a slow boom so the booming train is out there! Did you film 185 144 as i filmed it on friday evening shuddering a oxford rd station in Manchester. Something simliar is my bus collection would be Mercedes O405 M520RSS.
