I love to watch this show but #@ck me this job is nuts. Everything about it goes against human nature. They work 25 hour shifts several of them in a row with 0 sleep no food in there system then u see guys make mistakes and drown. No amount of money would get me out there period. Cant put a price on your life.

this show is getting retarded ! loading crab pots, unloading crab pots, sometimes plenty sometimes not so plenty. big waves, calm waves. loud mouth people, some get fired, sometimes theres ice on the boat, once in a while a ship will sink. its the same thing over and over !

This show is one of my favorite shows of all time...And I relly don't know why...I mean, if u think about it, it's just men fishing crab, right? I guess it's got some kind of connectivity with the audience...

I agree. It's a similar sentiment I felt the other night when I was watching Ice Road Truckers....like, "why the hell am I watching this?! There's no real story!"

But when you think about it, it's the first-person view into a fantastical reality we'll all likely never see otherwise, and we're drawn to it.
