@MangeINC That's so strange. Why buy several sub-par Korean guitars when you could have saved and gotten an RR1 or KE2? American made, and superior in every way.

@mustainedv8 Korean? No no. They are made in Japan actually. Same wood, same pickups, same everything as the USA models.Except they don't have ebony fretboards or binding. I have never played an RR1, KV2 or KE2, but honestly they can't be that much better than the japan made neck-thru models. Also the USA made ones costs about the double amount of money, which I don't think it's worth :)

my kelly is my wife, she's smooth like butter. only problem is i get too jelous when someone else plays her. Ya thats right we have that kinda bond. i play her through a line 6 half stack and i can play some beatiful hardcore, metalcore and just good ol rock through it, the kelly has a twangish kinda sound to her, so really really good solos, besides the twenty four frets are kinda nice too

All guitar brands are good to be honest. I think it's just really a personal preference. For me Schecter and ESP are my favorites, but I'm sure everything that's offered in those brands are offered in others, however Schecter and ESP are working-man's guitars, that are well-made.

Jackson's are just liked because they're pricey and because of the legacy that's behind them.

I think however though, if there's any brand I'd hate the most, it'd be Ibanez and Epiphone would be 2nd.

@TurkeyTuck I like Ibanez for Steve Vai styled rock only. Otherwise I hate em aswell. And the only Epiphone guitar I actually like is my SG from their custom shop that I modified after that. But that is all I like about Epiphone. otherwise I hate them aswell.

many times i wanted to have a kelly.The playing is very comfortable while sitting.But what about while standing ?All of Kellys(Japans) have balance problems to head side and also i cannot see the fretboard.They lean to front side.

Hahaha I have both a Jackson Kelly and a Jackson Randy Rhoads and I love both my guitars equally! =] The only thing I would change about my Randy Rhoads were the damn EMG pickups I installed on them. I can't stand the sound of EMG's so I'm going back to my good ol' trusty Seymour Duncans! =D

But long story short, Jacksons are just amazing guitars! Along with Ibanez ;)

ive said it before and ill say it again.. i had an ibanez rg320 for 450£ ish then bought a kelly like a few years later for £300 - the chaper version with no tremolo, by jackson, and i dunno if guitar value has just gone up but its wayyy better and as for ponch harmonics...... they be squealing like a barnyardi
