  • Brave Men! Real American know-how. America needs that kind of "can-do" attitude today.

  • The Gunny sure looked young then, but can still kick ass today!

  • I worked on C-130's for a year and a half during the war, then went to fighter jets (F-111's and F-105's). C-130's were a great plane. The riggers shown here were experts--that's not easy stuff to do. This required hot pilots, the weight and balance of the plane is thrown off when you dump tons of supplies out the back while flying. Military pilots are much better than civilian pilots.

  • God Bless all of you men.

I know my uncle was there, and I believe it was Khe Sanh where he said lots of times those birds that brought in the supplies didn't even stop. Said it was more of just 'dumped it out the back and kept going'. I believe it was there that he was speaking of. Thank you for serving, men.

  • "they lost planes every run". In memory of SSGT Bernard Ehle, Crew Chief. Killed when his C130 crashed taking off in Taiwan October 2, 1970. Lest we forget.

  • I flew over 40 missions into Khe Sanh during Lam son 719. This video takes me back. Not a good thing.

  • @samalw You guys were awesome. Some very brave flying!!

  • No, he was a Gunny in the Marines. I believe this guy is an officer in the Army.
