Hey good vid, I'm currently in Imovie 09 trying to make my selected clip pulse/pump. Do you know how to do that? And I'm also trying to sync the beats of my music it it to :)
@iluvozzy2006 In Final Cut that would be easy, but it would require a little more work in iMovie. The basic concept is the same: shoot green screen then edit.
Hi Matt!, I am a HUGE fan of your film making tutorials! I saw the videos you made and it inspired me! I have learned SO much from you! I have used final cut express 2.0 on my eMac for awhile. But seeing your video tutorials on YouTube I decided to buy Final Cut Pro 5 from Amazon.com. And just from watching this video I learned how to do Keyframing in FCP. It is very useful especially for special effects and music videos! Thanks!
Can you please make a video on green screening tutorial, I've looked at soooooo many but can't get it right, I think you would explain it the best! :D
@dermagicmax Its Pro (check out the name in the corner). I just don't use a lot of filters (or Final Cut in general) that often, so I don't have a lot installed.
@connymacbook I have both, but I would only recommend them if you want to do some serious editing and effects. I've always said that iMovie can do 95% of what the average users wants.
You are amazing! You're so helpful in every effect on iMovie!!!! Thanks, and keep making videos!

How did you do the thing with your mouse at 1:56? Is that your screen recording or is it Final Cut iMovie?

@legoguy514 Yes. Make sure you choose the blue screen option when you place it in. I made a video about it, check out my channel! :)

does imovie detect the greenscreen?
I tried what you did with a random video (no greenscreen) and i don't get the list of options you get when dragging a clip over another clip.

how did you get your dock to look like that?
BlakeOBrien1 1 year ago
@BlakeOBrien1
1. Open up Terminal
2. Type "defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES" and hit Return
3. Type "killall Dock" and hit Return
4. Quit Terminal
Now you have a 2d dock.
