  • hello, i have an ibm eserver that i want to replace the fans of. if you could give me a hint that would be nice. I have seen PWM fans for sale but they have four pins. The fans inside the server have a six pin connector, but only three wires from the fan itself. two of the connector pins are just to light an LED that te fans has failed. The third and fourth pins on the connector are just bridged. IS their such thing as a three pin PWM fan?
