  • This part broke my heart....specially with the kids

  • How can you have millions of dollars, look these kids in the face and not give them anything? Fuck celebrities!

  • @viniciusb you can't just hand out money in Africa it's not fair, after less than a minute of handing out a couple of shillings you'll be surrounded. Plus it doesn't send the right message about money and begging to these kids. It's much better giving something like boiled sweets etc

  • whats the song at the end called, does anyone know?

  • @elbones1982 Geoffrey Oryema - Land of Anaka

  • Islamic hospitality!

  • Ahaha, I love Ewan with the children.

  • that clip of the shadow in the tent is definitely one of them taking off their pants.

  • I'm so amazed by the ethiopian people they offered them tea!!!they are so humble simple and selfless people...

  • Imagine getting recognised in somewhere as remote as the middle of Ethiopia. Mental!

  • "do you have bodyguard" i have ten of them and they're all around, so be careful hahaha

  • such humble and lovely people. and I loved the part with Ewan and the Ethiopian children 'I want a big leg of goat...one for me....one for charley'

eye-opening seeing places like this, not to mention heart-warming.

  • i think in our country the people would also share a good meal with travellers from far away countries :)

  • omg :) ewan and the ethiopian kids! soooo funny nice and heartwarming :)

  • the best adventure documentary

  • I amm so glad that I am only halfway through the series! yet more adventures to come!

  • whoa those are some skinny cows... unlike our steroid built cows lol

  • @speedee911 I liked that comment. You're totally right, those cows are skinny, but I bet the meat is 100 times healthier than any burger you get from McDonalds.

  • surely they give them food in return? taking food from people who have no food in the 1st place seems mad of them

  • I enjoyed LWD just a little bit more than LWR. It wasn't because of the countries/terrain that they ride through, but that Charley got more air time, and was much more of an equal TV adventure partner. Viewing LWR, one wouldn't realise that Charley was the senior rider, with more expertise, than Ewan, on all road surfaces. In LWD, he gets more time in front of the camera. Sadly, Claudio seems to get much less, which is a shame, because I think everybody likes the unflappable Swiss man.

  • Claudio gets WAY to little screentime....shame!

  • The amazing part is that while Ethiopia used to be the icon for poverty in Africa in the 80's, they're now the most stable country in the region! They've even been responsible for keeping many of the warlords in the defunct country of Somalia in check from moving out. Most Americans don't even realize how much that after all the crap they've been through, they've really got their game together in comparison to the 80's. Still totally impoverished, but at least there is peace there to a point

  • Those kids at 00:38 are so cute!

  • Wow, it's really beautiful there! And Claudio captures it so well!

  • 1:32 she really did laugh like a squirel lol

  • finally the arrive in another one of the worlds' Scotlands XD ...btw: its getting more intresting in theses parts. I really enjoy it, cause they leave a lot of their own problems back and focus on the people and landscapes and a lot of little things that happen on their tour.

  • respect , but i still think you took to mush luggage , bikes to heavy , you should of rode the f 650 gs . it would of done the trip no stress .

  • Wait, Ewan said they crossed the Sahara desert, but isn't the Sahara over in West Africa under Morocco?

  • @TheVlogSister the sahara stretches from Western Sahara (under morocco) to egypt and northern sudan.

  • @TheVlogSister The Sahara desert stretches across Africa from a little off the West Coast all the way to the East. So yes it's under Morocco, but its where they were too :)

  • there should have be a mission in the xbox game Farcry 2, were you have to save charlie and ewan from an armed gang.

  • Say what you want about the West but last time i went to another state i didn't need a frickin' armed guard.

We are so greedy with all of our charities and human relief efforts.

  • it's so strange how people who have nothing are so generous. i have everything i could possibly want and dont think about giving anyone anything. we're such a selfish people.

  • speak for yourself, lol

  • no wonder ethiopians are good runners they practice chasing motor bikes!

  • Watching this, its just so eye opening. Everyone around the world in these countries is just so selfless, even when they have so little... And, here I am in 'The Greatest Country on Earth' and we wont share a garden hose with our neighbors.. its unbelievable.

  • "The greatest country on earth"? Well i only know one people claiming this megalomaniac synonym for their homeland...

You must be american, aye? But you are right... western civilasations are greedy and selfish.

  • That I am. But, I use that magalomaniac synonym in the utmost sarcastic way possible. The same as I would for our 'Fearless Leader' lol

  • Unfortunately, we are the only nation claiming this, and it's widespread throughout America, too. I don't know about Africa, really, but the West is a generally individualistic society. Especially the States, with our 'American Dream' and the idea of capitalism--making our own success, and as such, we see it as, we earned it--we keep it!Disclaimer: I am not suggesting that capitalism is bad; neither do I agree with the 'greatest country on earth' sentiment, I do see the west as generally greedy

  • @Jzook2112

Totally agree! Really forces me to size myself up.

  • @Jzook2112 "The Greatest Country on Earth"? Which country would that be?

  • @Monicaplay123 That'd be my reference to America.. I personally would rather live in Germany or something.. Im so sick of all this countries bullshit

  • @Jzook2112 I see. I live very close to Germany ( In fact, the country I live in is connected to Germany) so I've been there like 20 times - it's not that impressive (;

  • @Jzook2112 Its cuz they wanna be on tv or they want money stupid. Try going overseas before you bash America.

  • @TonsofFun777 When I traveled that route I had no TV crew and I didn't give money. I still received tea and more.

  • @TonsofFun777 You don't know shit...I have helped strangers and got help from them and in either case there weren't any cameras or money involved.During the war my father gave our village cottage to refugees even though we earned some 40 $ a month at the time('95)There are genuinely kind people all over the world.hospitality is sacred. But unfortunately more you have less likely you will be willing to give.

  • @Jzook2112

i kinda agree in a sense... but to be honest, most people are more kind to perfect strangers than to their neighbors.

  • @Jzook2112

"The Greatest Country on Earth" has some pretty strange policies. As it was leaked from the CIA/Pentagon:

"The socialist nature of the people in some nations will note vote for parties we approve of..."

  • Fgs sake she at it again..lol

  • you fat?

  • Ewan is so good with kids!

    Thanks so much, kowaxkowax!

  • shit, those cows looked skinny

haha, of all the things i could have picked up on :)

  • ewan's hat is cool :)

  • holy cow! 9:25 I never knew that ethiopia was so beautiful

  • squirrel girl!

  • people who has nothing give cups of tea to the multimillionaire stranger.. the world is still filled with incredible people isn't it?

  • Fuck off

  • Your comments fuckin sick. You try living on one cup of tea at 9. Give it a go and see how u go, bet u wudn't last 2 days you selfish shit. People like u have no respect...Fuck off

  • very nice reply to that doss shite, man.

  • Geez, you're an idiot, you can't even spell.

  • I thought it was cute when Ewan related the conversation he had with the Ethiopian boy in the yellow shirt. (: Literally smiled at that; just thought it shows the innocence of the young children in those countries.

  • i love how Ewan and Charley are so down to earth

  • lol, roasted goat bit is hilarious.
