I think it's worth finishing. The manga is way better than the Anime though. There are also some Tsubasa OAD's that are out that are really good.

See NHK( the TV station) owned the TV viewing rights to the characters Syaoran and Sakura because they were the company that aired Cardcaptor Sakura which both characters were originally from. The problem is that Tsubasa chronicles is a series that is for an older audience (complete with blood and the occasional dismembered limb) and NHK is a kid friendly station. So the only way that CLAMP (the writers of both series) could animate it is if they went straight to DVD.
