  • he's italian-american, right?

  • Wow! This guy's physique is INSANE! Very promising competitor!!

  • next year he should be placing higher!

  • I really wish youtube would disable comments period, cause i'm tired of seeing the same people dropping the S bomb before they even watch the video. These guys do what they do because they want to be the best in what they do. It comes with the territory. So either watch the video, or get the hell off here.

  • @SWEARWORD05 do you mean me with this???

  • I would love to have access to these drugs that Evan uses. Why can he get them, use them, get paid big money for creating this body with the aid of steroids, and not be arrested? The entire bodybuilding world is nothing but steroid users. Every winner is a user. If you don't use drugs, OK, you will still get strong, but such size and strength as Centopani's is impossible. Would Arnold ever have become the star he is without drugs? Hell no. And this guy...he would look like a gymnist.

  • What I will never understand is that bodybuilders, such as Evan Centopani, are only able to look the way they do because of steriods. Granted...they work their asses off, too. But such size, vascularity, low body fat and muscularity is ONLY possible with drugs. So...if this is true...then Why are these drugs illegal? And if they ARE illegal, WHERE do these guys get their supply? Why aren't they arrested for drug abuse, instead of being paid huge money and being featured on magazine covers?

  • @Operanobility You can disregard these people because they use steroids, but you have to be aware, that these athletes give their heart and their soul to get to where they are! And this deserves respect!

  • @JanHerschel I understand what you are saying. I am NOT jealous, or distainful. It is only that drugs make the difference for these guys. Of COURSE they give it their heart and soul...and I certainly respect the tremendous comittment to what they are doing...but what bothers me is that they never admit that it's the drugs which make them superstars...yep..drugs and a helluva lotta hard work! I get it...believe me. No way to have such physiques without that stuff. No frigging way...heart or not.

  • @Operanobility yeah you are right! To be the best you need the help of "drugs"... But look at all those other sports! In every kind of sport the top athletes take this stuff... doesn't matter if it's tabletennis, where some guys take clenbuterol, which is also an illegal drug or for example in cycling, where some take epo... But no one of these athletes will admit that they use illegal substances! Doesn't matter if it's in bodybuilding or any other sport...(sorry for my bad English I'm German)

  • @Operanobility That is very true. In fact a logical statement indeed. This is why the sport has changed so much over the years. Remember when Mr O was held all over the world? Now it's just Las Vegas. Remember when Pro BBing had shows on ESPN? Been long dropped. It's because how can the world look at this sport. Yet ban every drug they use in it from the general public. They can't, so it was all dropped. Plus nowadays it's even worse with all the GH guts going around.

  • This is prime beef.

  • his arms and shoulders over power his chest

  • much more detail and more genetically gifted than jay!!

  • @akissist you are a idiot of u think guy this guy is so over rated

  • The new jay cutler for in the future.

  • @Ghettoishere metallica - turn the page

  • evan centoroids

  • @MrSimaoli Fuck you

  • @MrSimaoli ,jealouse whore. u'd like to be big ehhh...lol.

  • @Ghettoishere Metallica - turn the page (cover)

  • my favorite bodybuilder.

  • Well, Phil Heath just started the new era. If anybody, one day, will be able to catch up to him, it might be this guy. I think you are looking at a good 5-6 years though, if it even happens. Nonetheless, the guy has a great future, and a very great way about him.

  • @HailThor89 I was just thinking about that

  • Metallica it is...

  • Does anyone think he's all natural?

  • is that a joke?

  • @SuperTonywalsh How?

  • @Ghettoishere bro that monster goes to my gym !

  • Definately not hating on Evan but in my opinion he still has a long way to go from here. As a longtime fan of bodybuilding this version of evan is not all that impressive. But obviously my opinion means shit. I do think he will amaze us one day though like cutler did in 2001 and 2009 olympia, like ronnie did a bunch of times, like kevin levrone did a few times etc.

  • @ods1ODS

I agree, he has some work to do but evan looks amazing and one hell of a BB now! Get posing and color down and he will kick some butt soon! Chest alittle flat but really no other lagging partsand always comes in shape which is tough it seems now a days lol His muscle maturity is beyond hsi years so he will do some damage soon

  • @muscle1923 Yes he does definately show up in great shape. And his legs are much much better. He is a true student of the game.

  • he's the future Olympia

  • Needs to work on his chest and traps a ton

  • @Ghettoishere version Metallica- Turn the Page

  • @Ghettoishere Actually this is the Metallica version of that song

  • @Ghettoishere yeaaah!! aries raggeeee!!! he is the next generation for shure.

  • how old is he?

  • is that not mettalicas version?

  • That comment below mine better had been made by Phil Heath or Jay Cutler, this kid has symmetry, proportion, shape, and conditioning, bodybuilding isn't all about muscle size, it's more about the beauty of physiques, so if something stands out then you've lost already, this kid could go a long way

  • @cgiordane22 phil and dexter are on the same side as Evan and the alliance of V-taper

  • not to be an asshole but....... whats with all the hype of this guy? he has numerous weak body parts and nothing stands out as special, he average at best

  • he is huge .5 feet 11 inches

  • evan and frank = 6ft tall lumberjacks

  • traps n chest are what need work

  • @Ghettoishere

Metallica's cover of Turn the Page by Bob Seger

  • dexter jackson one of the greatest bodybuilder of all time? yeah OK. bullshit, dexter sucks ass. sure he has a sandow, but the only reason he won that was because cutler looked like shit, it's like he said he let him win. not to mention his cocky ass attitude

  • lee priest

  • It is very decent right now but as soon as he gets the HGH gut, it is over!

  • @Uouttooo If he was going to have the HGH gut I'm sure he would've gotten it by now.

  • Great posing music

  • @Faelian6t5 I see where your coming from but the way I see it, do performance enhancers not allow you to access the hidden levels rather than playing the regular game with cheats, i.e you can only play these better more exciting levels with new access codes. ;-) Love these metaphors. I feel the IFBB needs to address this Mass beats everything.

  • with a lil more chest, evan wins olympia

  • @Ghettoishere he's more of a future cutler, he doesnt really have the same type of physique as dorian. branch is more like dorian

  • Just wait some years more, he´ll fighting for the olympia

  • About 1:28 doing the most muscular variation I have one major criticism; his legs. They don't have enough on them in that side shot, he lost his hamstrings up higher

  • Metallica - Turn The Page

  • i think if evan's lats were a bit wider he would have gotten 3rd place. his dry physique is nice

  • this guy gone be mr olympia soon great bodybuilder i see for a long time

  • posing and condition

  • I hate how the commentators talk during the posing routine. Fuck its annoying like talk between the routines

  • Comment removed

  • hes got some sick calves

  • @Ghettoishere wayyyyy prettier physique than Dorian had, Him and Phil Heath, = FUTURE OF BODYBUILDING

  • His physique looks great and only needs small improvements but does need to work on his posing and presentation.

  • 1:28 and 2:36 are such powerful shots for him. he has alot of potential, and alot of ppl forget hes only 28. jay's in his late 30's, once evan's about 31 or 32 he will definately be a top 3 olympia competitor, and the only person i can see getting past him is phil (branch, dexter, jay, kai, etc are reaching the end of their careers, branch will probly be here for a few years) and i can definately see him with at least 1 sandow

  • @famousily16 yeah branch could be around for another 6-7 years

  • Evan is still raw but I see him being a top 5 for years to come.

  • lee labrada kick ass

  • I wish I could find something wrong with his physique. Nice job Evan

  • @bjf5027 I can. front double biceps BLAH :) the rest is awesome

  • its great that evan has so many fans... but in my opinion he was destined never to finish higher than fourth in this particular contest... and fourth being a gift even. Goto muscular development and login and look at some photos. He certainly was not a run away fourth finish. If anything there was a 5 way tie for fourth with any one of evans poses being(again in my opinion) surpassed by one or several others that placed below him.

  • @abi4life i was at the show and dexter deserved 5th (was a little soft in the legs for some reason) and he sort of got lost in the shuffle with all of the big guys up there. ronny rockel is good, he deserved 6th though because he just doesnt stand out next to guys like branch and evan who have so much size on them. to be honest, if victor hadnt brought his best package since the 07 olympia and if dennis wasnt so dry and hard, evan could've easily gotten 2nd. i was kinda shocked he got 4th tbh

  • should have been the winner

  • @Ghettoishere Dorian Yates is very far away from this man. The enviroment is taking him up but his physique is quite vulgar. Overrated.

  • @CHLOTHARIUS I would disagree with this. Considering he's a fairly young pro, his back actually stacks up favorably with the field. He could use some more width, but his thickness is alright. His arms really aren't spectacular - nothing really is - which is a complement. BB is all about the total package, not the sum of the parts. This kid has it - little more overall mass/keep that grainy condition he displayed at the Arnold, and he's going to be a force.

  • WHERE ARE YOU PHIL HEATH??

  • @Ghettoishere Bob Seger - Turn the Page

  • @SuperSunnyrathore Thats the original but this is actually the metallica cover of it

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperSunnyrathore It changes to metallica @ 0.25

  • @SuperSunnyrathore Isn't it Metallica?

  • @SuperSunnyrathore this is the metallica cover of turn the page

  • @SuperSunnyrathore Isn't this Metallica though?

  • @SuperSunnyrathore Sounds like metallica to me..

  • @SuperSunnyrathore No Bob doesnt sing this song, its a cover by Metallica.

  • @SuperSunnyrathore It's Metallica you spaz

  • @SuperSunnyrathore metallica cover

  • @Ghettoishere Intro is Bob Seger's Turn The Page, the rock part is a cover of the same song by Metallica.

  • he's ok. I don't really like his physique, it's just so... boring. Plus his chest like sinks into his armpits when he does a front double bi lol. I really hope more aesthetic guys like Dennis Wolf and Roelly Winklaar will continue to improve and be awarded in the future.

  • @bonzihunter You have to remember Evan is young. Hes mature fibers haven't mature completely so his density will take time. However, for his age his density is amazing already. His chest is small for his width because of his shoulder frame. IF you watch Jay cutlers younger videos he had the same problem. Hopfully over time he will bring more volume to his chest like Jay did. Give him a couple years to gain on about 30more pounds and he'll be a show stopper.

  • @MrZaslaw good point regarding muscle maturity. Most pros don't hit their peak for a number of years due to this very fact. But I would say that if you would compare his density to most young guys, he's one of the best I've seen. The chest has to come up a little bit, but that fact that he has broad shoulders will no doubt greatly benefit his x-taper in the not so distant future. It's surprising that he has nailed his conditioning so early in his career - Martinez still hasn't figured it out

  • @bonzihunter I agree with nearly everything you have said. Anyway I do not think Wolf or Winklaar have the level of the old glories.

  • He could bring up his biceps, especialy his left one. I still had him winning.

  • freak monster whatever great body builder in his way to be mr olympia 2013 after wining 2012 arnold classic

  • I am a huge fan of Evan's. I believe he looks a little "flat" compared to his New York Pro 09 win. His back looks amazing, he has such a thick middle back all the way down. I hope that the year he took off netted him good gains and at the Olympia he can fully express them.

  • @BJGally good point. But I've always believed that a little "flat" is better then a little bloated (i.e. Kai Greene 2010 Olympia.) Maybe it had to do with the short time period between shows (Flex Pro he was fuller as well.) Really upper chest is the only weak point, and even that's not glaringly terrible - that's a testiment to Evan and the way he gone about building his physique -props.

  • @12packeralger I am rooting for this guy 100%. I hope he can nail it at the Olympia. Do you think he looks a little less confident/ uneasy during his routine than in the past? The attitude he had at the Tribeca is what he needs to bring every time, I think it counts.

  • @BJGally I think he's actually improved his posing technique quite a bit (his transitions are much better.) But I would concur with you that he's does lack some of the 'umph'/attitude he had in the past (ironicially when he was not as good at posing.) This might be the only reason he didn't win the "Top Poser" at the Arnold - that last pose he hit was crazy by the way. Give his body/mind experience, his potential is vast. He reminds me of a YOUNG Dorian Yates, with his back/grainy conditioning.

  • I love Evan's physique because he's got that old-time classic bodybuilding aesthetic shape, unlike many of the pros today who sport the tell-tale GH bloated/blocky gut look... he's got the proportion and symmetry like in days gone-by... needless to say, like the commentators said in the video, he's going to be a top force to contend with in the future in this sport.

  • who the fuck is this freak? i love when the monsters come out of nowhere

  • All the hype? Evan is going to be the future of bodybuilding. He's 28 years old and while he got "thrown to the lions" he placed 4th out of 14..he got 30k. Please for the love of god someone throw me in with him so I can pay off some of my school loans. Imo I thought he did well considering he had to aim for the flex 2 weeks prior and he had to stay that lean until the arnold.

  • Don't understand the hype. No chest and wasn't ever going to win this competition. Made a huge mistake entering the Arnold; he was thrown to the lions.

  • @TheLKline No chest? Please explain

  • @TheLKline very few young pros can come out of the wood work and automatically win a big show - he was simply getting his feet wet. Actually, the fact that he was in a pose down with a conditioned Wolf and a bigger Victor is quite impressive.

  • He definitely deserved top 3, easy.
