Well, I cant haul my horse triler with a Prius. I have a 2001 Dodge with a Cummins and guess what it gets better mileage than the new trucks, All the smog made them get poor fuel milage. I bought a 1997 Infiniti q45t with 71,500 miles on it, This car is mint I paid 2900 cash for it , if I did'nt it would have been traded in as a clunker. It's a shame what this program did for alot of great cars out there especially for those who cant afford to buy new.

I had a 74 chevy c20 and the only reason i got rid of it is because i didn't need it. i didn't have anything to haul around so why do i need a truck. now some kid that lives on a farm has it and puts it to good use. now i have a ford ranger getting about 25mgs hauling a dirtbike around. cash for clunkers sucked ass.

Got to say, i agree with the mentality used by many American truck owners.I own it, its paid for, and it does what i need. I have a 2000 cherokee. love it to death. Went down to my local jeep dealer, they saw lizzie and almost ran out the door to offer me a patriot.I pulled up next to it and said fold the seats down. you would swear i told him to paint it pink. I explained how i used mine and he said "you cant do that with the new ones" I thanked the man and drove away.

The clunkers that made it in should have been destroyed. The somewhat decent ones traded to the people who could have used them for their true clunkers. It should have been thought out better, especially for a program that was funded on borrowed money. Can't change the past. Hopefully we learn from this. This is entertaining tho.

I bought a 1997 Infiniti q45t with 71,500 miles on it, This car is mint I paid 2900 cash for it , if I did'nt it would have been traded in as a clunker. It's a shame what this program did for alot of great cars out there especially for those who cant afford to buy new.
