If you still suffer symptoms the no, however if it was something you had trouble with as a child/early teen but have not had any trouble with it for at least three or four years then you're ok as long as you meet the other requirements...
I've already started training for the army hitting the gym and running everyday right now im 16. Im hoping it will make it all easier when im in the army basic training, every bit helps!
it hella will. but work hard on your regular pushups and sit ups too. just because you can bench 96148765872147617 lbs. doesnt mean youll be able to do a lot of push ups. i know people who are like that lol.
haha right on. do push ups as a finishing exercise for your chest workouts. you can build more endurance that way (if youre tired and sore and can to a lot of push ups youll be able to do a shit load more when youre fresh) and in reality any ab exercise will help you get better at sit ups. but dont forget to actualy do sit ups themselves lol

kick ass man. work on getting that 300. ill give you some more advice and you can carry this with you your whole career; "if you set the maximum as YOUR minimum, you can never really fail" when I went through thats what one of my Drill sergeants told me. i still use it. with everthing, not just PT.

Things are sure different; Army found out that running in Boots was bad for you a while after they ruined my feet with Stress Fractures. Optics on Weapons? Iron Sights only way, need to zero we had Vietnam M-16's one even Marked AR-15 but it was a Selective FIre (one of the first made I guess) Basic for me was June 1980 at Ft. McClellan, AL MP School. Army sure gives you a lot more protective gear than they used to, steel pot was it, no knee pads, glad they are doing it, hope not Scout Camp!

Things are sure different; Army found out that running in Boots was bad for you a while after they ruined my feet with Stress Fractures. Optics on Weapons? Iron Sights only way, need to zero we had Vietnam M-16's one even Marked AR-15 but it was a Selective FIre (one of the first made I guess) Basic for me was June 1980 at Ft. McClellan, AL MP School. Army sure gives you a lot more protective gear than they used to, steel pot was it, no knee pads, glad they are doing it, hope not Scout Camp!

@superbowlchamp08.... Bct will get you in shape! Yes you run 2 miles, but if you can do a 100 yard dash then you should be able to pace yourself enough to do it. Dont worry its not a haul ass and see who finishes first kinda run. You'll do fine.

A lot of the ones who trash talk your military are people who haven't grown up enough to gain enough real world experience to realize that having their own opinion based on their own experience and knowledge of what they're trash talking makes more sense. Some examples are kids who hear things like "best army in the world!" and take it to heart. Keyboard soldiers talk shit about other soldiers, real soldiers don't.
