@MegaFire95 Develop simply means creating, so tho they didn't have the proper equipment/technology to create the game by then, doesn't mean they couldn't start of with the ideas how they might wanted it to be like, which i think they were doing. They might started painting the creatures/monsters in the game, or making the storyline. Brainstorming you know, if you're going to make something REALLY great, a brainstorming and creating storyline for a game like this might take a years.

If this game was released 6 years ago, I would have been impressed by the gameplay. Now I think that this game is just for the huge fanbase the game has, because of the older versions.

@XekTOr89 Gearbox Software owns DNF now..its coming to PS3,XBOX360 and PC at 2011.also they made an announcement saying that they will release demo of DNF to everyone not just the people who bought Borderlands GOTY edition
DNF is real and its coming real soon so buy yourself a pack of bubblegum and get ready to kick some ass :=)
If you look at the scenes from here, and then the same scenes from Gearbox's demo, they've made this game look so much more polished and playable in the time they've had it, and they are still polishing it, I have no doubt it will be candidate for GOTY 2011

Holy Fap!!! The real Duke Nukem Forever is coming out in 2011 and it's being developed by Gearbox and 2k games! Go to g4tv.com or get the G4 AppStore app and watch the PAX 2010 video about it and look at the screenshots it's fucking amazing and has modern/next gen graphics and gameplay. The developers said they weren't releasing any footage of the real game but people who attended pax 2010 were able to play an exclusive portion of the game!

@masterpatric07 are you referring to the side scrolling platformer.. cause if you were, I doubt you are old enough to remember it. The first 3d iteration of duke nukem came out the same year as Quake and Doom came out in 93... so explain this to me oh sage of wisdom.. how does that work again ?

@gizmonix Duke 3D was released in 1996, not '93, Quake was released in '97 not '93, Doom did release in '93 but didn't release in the year of Duke.

Holy Fap!!! The real Duke Nukem Forever is coming out in 2011 and it's being developed by Gearbox and 2k games! Go to g4tv.com or get the G4 AppStore app and watch the PAX 2010 video about it and look at the screenshots it's fucking amazing and has modern/next gen graphics and gameplay. The developers said they weren't releasing any footage of the real game but people who attended pax 2010 were able to play an exclusive portion of the game!

if you ask it you must be under the age 19 at least cause this game came out more than 10 years hi hi wow im old... i played the original duke in age 10-12 thrilled to see what came out of this ambition develop (back to scrapes 3 times during it)
