  • Fuck Kim Kiardashian!! It's all about Mr. D

  • This is what I'm talking about. My family thinks I'm annoying about all my Disney talk and about my dream of becoming a face character or worker at Disneyland, all they really care about is me getting them discounts once I'm there -.- but one day I will be proud to say "I AM PROUD TO WORK AT DISNEYLAND AND BE WALKING THE STEPS OF WALT DISNEY AND ALL HIS HARD WORK AND I'M GLAD I FOLLOWED MY DREAMS!!!"

    AND.......wassup look at me now. I'm 13.

  • Won 22 Oscars. Another 39 wins & 41 nominations

  • UN DIA COMO HOY 15 DE DICIEMBRE MURIO

1966: Walt Disney, dibujante y cineasta estadounidense.

(Walter Elias Disney (n.

  • Happy birthday Walt Disney!

  • I was not alive when Walt was but he is a true American hero. He was not afraid to throw political correctness out the window. He understood the values of family. He knew communism was terrible. Good always triumphs over evil. It is too bad his successors keep pushing liberal messages. It is now bad to give children romantic ideas. Now they must be negative and about giving handouts to people that don't earn their keep.

  • I hated when ppl thinks that Anaheim Disneyland is not as good as other Disneyland theme park.Because I feel like this is the original one of course the newer one should be better since they added more stuff to it.So please understand the origin and stop talking shit.

  • Walt actualy modeled disneyland main street after his home town Marceline MO.

  • 3:26-4:37

  • 0:00-1:11

  • I'll kill Justin Bieber for Walt Disney because this is the guy who never grew up and started his own company that today became one of the biggest company in the world.

  • Ohh wow satan works in so many ways. i love it!

  • @Steriomind What are you talking about satan?

  • @Steriomind ? what do you even mean by this?

  • let's all calm down. disneyland is an amazing place, as are all of the disney parks and they are all getting better. if disney didn't update their technology/rides in the park, nobody would go. and the magic is still in all the rides and the disney parks are still the best in the world!

of course disney is a corporation but it's still devoted to excellence. i think iger is doing a great job and putting some awesome new things in the parks (new fantasyland looks amazing, world of color...)

  • This is amazing!

  • The fact that Tinkerbell started showing these... I miss those openings...

  • I went to Disneyland yesterday and I'm going again today :D

  • aww i want to go to disneyland

  • He was Great Man with the vision and determination to make dreams become reality!

  • en el minuto 3:46 se ve como walt disney esta parado de la misma forma que el mickey de la foto de atras

  • Here's an interesting essay on Disney's effect on society you might all like: amazon.com/Walt-Disney-Facsimile-Reality-ebook/dp/B005JFRI8S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1314730820&sr=8-3

  • Disney is in the hands of total failures today. The genius, Walt is gone, no wonder it's become a factory of crappy movies and cartoons.

  • Well we still have Pixar Studios continuing the Disney saga. And brilliantly might I add.

  • @BenGriffithsReviews Yes, Pixar is doinga great job but it lacks the magic of a Walt Disney: That timelessness is gone.

  • @BenGriffithsReviews I agree, Pixar has done beautifully.

  • The prices to get in the park now tick me off to no end. Seriously $74. ???? And then you have to count food and souveniers. Part of the reason our economy is messed up is because the money's going into places like this one. Makes me sick.

  • @pattisgirls it's 80 bucks now! i went yesterday!

  • @suzispazzurrz in just 3 weeks time they raised it??? that place seriously needs to be shut down. with the amount of money it would cost me to make a trip out there for me and my 3 kids, I could buy a car! I'll never go there again.

  • @pattisgirls i can't believe it was 74 just 3 weeks ago (since you say so). O:! but i guess so. :/ i love disneyland so much and this was the first time in about 7 years that i went with my family again. i used to go there once every year when i was a kid, it was far much cheaper. they just keep raising and raising the prices of the tickets. :/ it's really sad...i bet walt disney would not approve.

  • i made a speed drawing of walt...it's on my channel, but my point is, he's just my hero! i love walt disney! i wish i got the chance to know him...

  • Walt Disney was a very patriotic man, proud of and confident in the American spirit...

  • ...and then the major movie studios, who had previously shunned television, and refused to embrace it as the Disney studio had done (as early as 1950, with their initial "One Hour in Wonderland" special), saw what a success "DISNEYLAND" was, and two of them {Warner Bros. and MGM} signed with ABC for their own anthology series in the fall of 1955, while 20th Century-Fox signed with CBS for one of their own. That was the beginning of Hollywood's eventual control over prime-time programming...

  • This premiered at a time when ABC was "fourth" among the four major broadcast networks {including the soon-to-be dismantled DuMont network}. The ratings for this initial episode were even beyond their expectations- soon, several network affiliates were attempting a "partial affiliation" with ABC so they could carry "DISNEYLAND" on Wednesdays at 7:30pm(et); "I MARRIED JOAN" [8pm] was off NBC at the end of the season, and Arthur Godfrey's ratings on CBS (at 8) also faltered...

  • Today is the day July 17th, 2011 that the magical era of Disney magic: Disneyland was open.

  • Dear God if you give us back Walt Disney we'll give you Justin Beiber and you can take Selena Gomez as a bonus.

  • If you take Disney Channel out of consideration, the magic is still alive and well at the Walt Disney Company. It really is, try imagining disney overall today WITHOUT thinking about the monstrosity of its channel for just one minute.

  • of course most of you know that Walt Disney never really owned Disneyland, he just came up with the idea for it. But I Thank Him For Having Such A Brilliant Mind and Coming Up With The Idea Of This because I Dont Know what my life would be like without Disney. Thank You Walt Disney For All The Fun and Happiness You Have Brought To The World! <3

  • If Walt was still alive, Disney channel would still probably be full of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and other GOOD cartoons. But alas...no.

  • @iknownothing34 And I'd bet he'd fire all those empty suits that currently run Disney and bring the company back to it's former glory.

  • @jake94 Oh yeah, that definately. I hate being at the happiest place on earth and have jerk employees that don't do anything.

  • @iknownothing34 i know, one chick i saw there definetly didnt like her job. she just acted like we were all crap. why do those employees even get hired in the first place

  • @lilmisscrazy120 Yeah I know!!! I would LOVE working at Disney.

  • @iknownothing34 yeah, me 2

  • @iknownothing34 Wait wait wait, do you even realize that even without cancer, Walt would still be dead today? This probably isn't the point you were making but I'd just like to point it out.

  • @Videogeek95 Oh yeah I understand. That wasn't the point I was trying to make, but...ok.

  • @mozartgenetics sir, I know it sounds weird but can you do a walk around of your house?

  • I am 50 years old & my home is completely transformed into a wonderland. I have themes for every room and paintings on every square inch of wall. When I first started this I got a lot of negative comments about an adult living in a fairytail. Now it is finished, people ask me if I could do something like that at their home. I think the world is dark enough with wars and continual bad news. My home should be a break from it. Disney inspired my efforts and he was an adult. Live your dream.

  • When I was little, I thought Walt Disney sang " When you wish upon a star" :]

  • I think what the original Park need a Thought of who and what Walt is and that is why i am going to make an Audio-Animetronic figure of this great and honored man not just standing there but actually moving and saying hi and to people and doing different things too... i think many people will like this idea and i hope it can inspire many people too..Anyone who wants to help me in building this please repond??

  • i think i got into the disney-ness because of mickey mouse

  • Walt Disney shocked people with advanced technology back then. Today the Disney Corp. is predictable and cheap. They announced they're going to double the size of Disney World recently. Big deal! It will all be small minded and no more advanced than what you can find at a high end shopping center. Disney badly needs a real man at the helm. But, looking at all the people in line for the top spot thats not gonna happen. Sad ending to what the legend started.

  • @chilenozo ya think? lol

  • Maybe this is what inspired Iron Man's 2 scene where Howard Stark present Stark Expo....

  • MICKEY PREMIUM BARS FOR LIFE!!!

  • i saw walt yesterdY. was grabbing a creamsicle.

  • Walt Disney is a true genius and a legend, You will be remembered forever R.I.P

  • God!!! Plase take the Jonas Brothers and let Walt come back!!

  • Disney was all magical up until the mid 90's, the conclusion of my childhood. But damn the new Disney to hell, all about musicals and high school freshman. And who cares that Disney is masonic and illuminating subliminal brain washes for kids, if it wasnt for him I wouldnt be me

  • @SkipandDill You mean until the 2000's. 90's Were very magical.

  • @futureanimatior very true my friend

  • @SkipandDill Yes they have very little magic left in them now.

  • @SkipandDill Hey hey hey, okay one, I consider myself a 90's kid and would totally watch a cartoon from the 90's before anything today. But I would like to stand up for everything from 2000 to 2005. Disney channel didn't really start sucking until 2006 and beond. Oh, and all the disney animated movies ever made from 1930's? to 2000's they can't screw up a movie like that even if they tried.

  • Coach: Hey, Disneyland! $**t, I used to go there when I was a kid!

  • Now that Walt's nephew, Roy is not with us anymore, who do any of you think should be his "heir"?

  • This is a precious treasure - thank you so much for posting!

  • 1 of Walt Disney's famous quotes was "never forget it all started with a mouse" in my opinion Disney ceo Robert Iger has lost sight of this, now Disney is just another $ hungry corperation

  • It's kinda difficult to remember when we weren't born then.

  • @jman073077 It was in the late-Eisner era. Now Disney's trying to become more family-friendly by adding new park attractions, selling and downsizing some of its divisions, and appreciating its past. And with D23 around, well we appreciate Disney's past, present, and future.

  • We are going to Disneyland on the 24th I hope I get to go its been a LOOONG time since i been there haha I love Disney sooo many memories I have had with my father, of course I will continue to go because of him and because of myself <333

  • Walt Disney is a great person, if he were here today, he would've continued his legacy and he would have also created new cool things such as movies, shows, amusement parks, etc.

  • the model looks a little wider in the town square. =D

  • I actually cannot even begin to imagine a world without Disney. Life would be so god damn boring and everyone would be pessimistic (Am I spelling that correctly?)

I put inspirational Walt Disney quotes in my sketchbooks "If you can dream it you can do it" so that I never give up on my dream to work for Disney. I feel like everytime I open up my sketchbook, Walt Disney himself is telling me "Alex, you can do it! Start drawing!" <3 <3

    Thank-you Walt Disney for everything!

  • @nddlj yeah Disneyland is my place o go when I want to get away from the depression of the modern America.

  • walt disney was such a beautiful man. so full of life, love, and imagination. i cannot imagine what this world would be like if he were never around...

  • Give me the key to disney for one day and I will get rid of every piece of shit show on the disney channel on today, and just play re-runs of the 1950s classics!!

  • 'Quality will out' ...' Give them more than they can see and they will keep coming back' Mr WE Disney and Mr Roy O Disney have given us quality infotainment for decades. I too agree that modern things like Montan and Jonas are pandering to a lowest common denominator. I think that the USA should have a holiday named after Walt and Roy. There will never be anything as magical as this...

  • 12 people have no soul

  • I wish Mr. Disney was here 2day so he can do something about this Hannah montana and Jonas Brothers nonsence. im 20 y/o now and I still love Walt Disney's clasic work. i mean when it came 2 entertainment the man was a Geneus. He not only Entertained the children of the world but the adults as well. he helped adults remember what it's like 2 be a kid. that to me is a true Entertainer.

  • Man Walt must be turning in his grave seeing where his vision ended up with the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montanna; it's an insult.

  • @cron78 Yeah the only good things part of his vision he has left is Disneyworld, Pixar and Kingdom Hearts T_T

  • WHO'S VOICE IS THE COMMENTARY?

  • @Egahm23 Im not completely sure but i think it's Jack Wagner

  • walt disney is the man!

  • I miss the good Disney shows, like Duck Tales, Goof Troop, Tales spin, Bonkers, Mickey Mouse Works, ect.

Now kids are stuck with crap like Hannah Montana and The Proud Family

  • disney channel might not be the best but the parks, the movies, and the whole walt disney company is still one of the most beloved companies in the world and i think walt would be proud

  • I wish Disney Channel was like this today.

If Walt Disney saw Disney Channel today, he'd probably be rolling over in his grave... T_T

  • @SolsticeC but he'd be very proud of the new movies that were released after his death.

  • @SolsticeC Couldn't agree more; a lot of what he dreamed and developed has been bastardised over the years. Too many hands in the cookie jar now. He was a rare, yet true bread of American idealism very rarely even seen in today’s corporate money hungry world. Disney has defiantly hit some home runs with things like Pixar and up-keeping the classic Disney films; but movies like Tron (2010) could have been way better. I was going nuts waiting for the Daft Punk scored film to hit the screens.

  • @SolsticeC If Walt Disney saw that his legacy is run by Jews, he'd roll over in his grave. (He was an anit-Semite, not me).

  • @shaneymane15 Was he really?

  • @shaneymane15 Wow you're right and also a racist (African Americans and such). I have to say, that makes me sad...

  • @BenGriffithsReviews Well almost everyone back then was racist.

  • @shaneymane15 Yeah I guess you're right.

  • @shaneymane15 Ohh stop that nonsense: Many of the greatest artists are jews, many of the great scientists, physicians also joos, what's your beef?

  • @gnossticc Come on man, are you stupid? I have nothing against Jews. What I said was Walt Disney is an anti-Semite. Can't you fucking read?

  • @shaneymane15 that's a rumor. in reality, he had nothing against jews. he got that reputation because he joined an anti-communist & anti-simitic group. he was anti- communist, but he wasn't anti-semitic. because of that, he was believed to hate jews. he later distanced himself from the group. i read it online..

  • @SolsticeC thats what I was going to say

  • Those of you that say that the old Disney dead are a bunch of idiots. Of course it isn't. You go to a park and see all the smiling little boys that think they are pirates of the little girls that believe they are princesses. Disney is about creating a world of fantasy and imagination and the only thing that has changed is the time and the mediums of packaging. Quit thinking like a nostalgic old timer and start seeing it through the eyes which Disney was always intended through the eyes of the c

  • @BakerBoiApollo

I'm more dissapointed in the fact that they lost they're focus. I mean Walt disney was out to change the world with his monorails and people movers and eventually his Experimental Prototype City of Tommorow...now look at it...its just a money making theme park EPCOT. he went from animator, entertainer to Inovator. one person that could have benefitted the world with his new city and ideas! but now look at the company...nothing but money now.

  • @ratub12 Disneyland has a certain specialness to it that Disney World could never obtain. Disney World is fun, and the imagineers have certainly done a splendid job - there's a lot of creativity in some places (e.g., Expedition Everest, Philharmagic, Adventurer's Club), but it doesn't have the same heart and history to it. Without Walt's personal touch, it feels much colder.

  • freedogshampoo, please hit me up! i want to ask you something about these episodes you have posted

  • i love walt

  • fake

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY WALT! :D

  • Just Got Home From Disneyland Today!!!

  • when Walt Disney died so did the magic!!!

  • @WickedLady2010 yeah maybe, but a few thousand people got justice.

  • I totally agree with your complains. Nothing in D. Channel reminds us anything of the fantastic Disney's world which had a major part in forming our imaginary. Neither the silly stories for girls and boys at their first hormonal assaults, nor the ugly drawing of childrens' stories. To say nothing of the adults.

    What a pity.

  • My wife and I were thinking of taking our children. But the thought of my wife and kids getting raped by the TSA at the airport put us off. But one day we hope to visit when the TSA are brought under some sort of control

  • @gusnnell if you're talking about the full body scanner, its only optional

  • I'm finding myself whistling along to the Disney songs on the soundtrack. xD

  • Disney movies, Disney anything passed away with him, R.I.P. Walt Disney.

His name has been used since his passing, but the difference's is night and day.

  • Jessicax226 - When Disneyland first opened there was a structured ticket system for all the rides, not one ticket covers all. E-Tickets were for the "best" rides in the Park i.e. Matterhorn, Submarines etc. D,C,B, and A tickets were for the less attractive rides.

  • ive heard of E-tickets but im not sure what it is. can anybody tell me?

  • If you could go back any day to Disneyland, What day would it be? I'm sorry that's random, but i want to hear your guy's thoughts.

  • @tamisweetie It has way more stuff today then it did back then.

Otherwise I'd want to go on a day Walt Disney himself was in the park. Opening Day makes sense.

  • @tamisweetie Opening day, so I can meet Walt Disney himself. :)

  • Comment removed

  • Bring back E-tickets

  • Walt is mainly responsible for my original interest in Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone and the 18th century woodsman era. Dispite the lack of authenticity, watching these clips again still gives me a thrill.

  • Disney was better back then, now it is boring

  • I can't Imagine my life without Walt Disney. What a Visionary he was. Thank You Walt Elias Disney for Making Millions Happy with your Talent.

  • @perpetual61 Amen, amen, AMEN!!!!

  • @perpetual61 he worshiped the devil

  • @perpetual61 I thought his name was Walter Elias Disney??? Either way, he changed my life <3

  • @perpetual61 Visionary, my ass. the only vision he really had was an america without blacks, native americans, jews, or asians. you want to argue that, read up on the american eugenics project. you WILL find that he was very involved in it.

  • @flossyleech1 keep telling yourself that ive read that and i never once saw his name appear

  • @perpetual61 id say billions

  • @perpetual61 and his pushing his workers and artist to better themselves because he saw more in them. I would have been proud to work under Mr Disney, One of the Greatest Leaders and Americans in history..

  • They should bring the show back

  • I also love Walt and am very grateful for his creations because they inspired 2 other legends: Osamu Tezuka (creator of Astroboy and the Godfather of modern manga and anime) and Akira Toriyama (the creator of Dragon Ball that set the stage for other shonen manga and imo the "Michael Jackson" of manga today)

So once again thank you Mr. Walt Disney for your awesome vision and history changing ideas. Your legacy shall never die! :D

  • Yeah, I feel like the whole "magic" idea has gone out of Disney these days. It's all about how fast computers can generate something. Frog and Princess seems different since its hand-drawn again, but...

  • you are my hero walt disney you will be in my heart forever i love you

  • The New World Order, Molochi the owl. (AKA the horned beast)

  • If you've ever been to Disneyland in California. you know Walt Disney's plans essentialy came true for the visitor...although it never really became a TV production center. (Disney World and Epcot Center,on the other hand, DID become a media center as well as a tourist amusement center.)

As for Disney the man...I talked not long ago with a guy who knew him well, and to hear him tell it he was a brilliant, complicated guy who was tough and demanding but also had a warm and generous side.

  • walt disney actualy turned out to be a horrible person.

  • @TheBIGJJR Please, don't foret how many people Walt put out of business, because of his genius. He had many enemies. But, don't get me wrong, because everyone has their own demons. He wasn't perfect, but who is? His impact is undeniable.

  • @TenderTrap86 yea thats a good point but i just saw a video saying that he couldn't draw at all, so he just put his name on everything his animators did.

  • I believe that if Walt saw all of the happiness and joy that come from his masterpieces, and his amusement park, he would ask "what took you so long" :)

  • Disneyland is the shit homie!!!!! that place is tight!!!! R.I.P WALT DISNEY-----thanks for creating a place where everyone is a child. Bless u Walt.

  • Disney really was/is the best animatiors

  • wow that 20 legaue under the sea guy sure didnt get wet for all that water. blue screen?

  • @mizzfreakster96

    .....lol

  • man i'm so grateful to be a socal native......i went to Disney World back in '03 and one of the workers there asked which one was better.....i don't care how many parks Florida will have, nothing will ever beat the original head honcho of anything Disney

  • walt died by a airplan crashh and theyy putt himm in that sno globe the hude one with micki and mini hes in there lloll

  • @mrmsjbeieber The fuck?! Youre dumb.

  • disney channel doesnt even seem like disney...

    doesnt anyone agree with me?

  • @cutie56263 i agree

  • @cutie56263 : I agree 100% I miss the MMC and the classic cartoons they used to play from time to time when I was a kid. Now it's nothing but trash. It's good to be innovative, but not demolish the Disney spirit. I think with Hannah Montana, Wizardsof Waverly, etc. is stupid!

  • @cutie56263

As I've said time and time again, most of the stuff Disney comes out with now is crap. But Phineas and Ferb is AWESOME! That's the only show on Disney I actually like xD

  • @cutie56263 I do, I do :D

  • @cutie56263 agreed!

  • @cutie56263 I agree.

  • @cutie56263 101 people agree with you. Including me. The rest of them were too lazy to hit the thumbs up button ^ ^

  • @cutie56263 I do.

  • @cutie56263 Very much agree! It's garbage now.

  • @cutie56263 Yeah, Disney has lost it's way. It use to be really great. I think Walt would be discouraged to know the shape of Disney as of today.

  • @cutie56263

I think it's OK to introduce new things and characters on the Disney Channel but they also should play some of the old shows for the babyboomers. Isn't that the way Walt would have it?

  • @cutie56263 yes, how sad that it's become a teen channel, not a disney channel

  • @cutie56263 I agree, but I sure wish it wasn't that way. Disney channel used to be amazing....now they have shows like "Shake it up" which is more like Nickelodeon :(

  • @cutie56263 Just another channel to spread stupid shows because nick ran out of room thank god for toon disney

  • Lol the cryogenic freezing myth is hilarious, not true though

  • Hilarious how during the Sleeping Beauty thing, they label things like "owl," "wishing well," and "tree."

  • wow so that park still stands in cali woot

  • it is very saddening to know what could've been and what is now what it is. I just wish that somebody could've got in there who would 've actually tooken care of it. Old Disney is so close to my heart because I remember so much from the past. Today this catstraphe they have made it into makes me wanna cry. If walt was still here there would'nt be reality shows on Disney channel. :(

  • @megansworldwebblog ur right dude

  • I love Disney so much!

  • When Walt died the old Disney died as well, screw you new un-funny Disney!

  • @Benstudio13 walt disney is dead he's just frozen. i heard it from somewhere that he chose to freeze himself b/c he became sick. so now they're trying to find a cure so they can one unfreeze him! but yeah idk xD
