lol yup. TBH though every team does this and it's not what they do all practice all season long. It's a good way to see who is fit and hungry to play. Good way to let players work out their "differences" as well. Jaguars coaching needs work thats for sure.

the drill is also for backs to teach them to read the blocks... there is nothing wrong with backs cutting back, making the tackle in this drill is not the point, its being physical and getting off the ball, beating the hell out of the person lined up across from you... if you do make the tackle it is a plus, its not a hands on a read drill

you shoudnt be allowed to cut back as a running back in this drill pick a hole. i was always taught as a dlineman to bullrush and weight until the running back chooses a side and make the tackle. the drills for the dlineman/d back , and semi for the o line/reciver not for the running back. shit we used freshman for rb's lol

the way i do it is my coach as 1 running back with the ball, 2 linemen are at it. And thers another person on the other side of the running back and he is the corner and the kid whose running the ball either cracks him, or gets cracked =] and that's the funnest way cause it could go either way =p

i wonder if they make everyone on the team do oklahoma drills, cuz i know my team does and they make line men do it, i mean seriously why do they need to do this, i could see maybe qb's runing back and people like that but i dont c the point in having a line men do it

All I see is poor footwork, each of the defensive players either did not step into the lineman or they stepped back into a hole. Thats why they all got ate up buy the offensive here.
