  • @sgtsmo95 About 1,25 miles

  • @Fluxriflex2 if your talking about the flash that looked liked a laser traveling down to the explosion, it was the line of detonating cord used to set the explosives off.

  • @bytheway0416 there was no det cord there. we used time fuse

  • the speed of sound is 760 mph

  • @52TDR lol that was meters per second

  • @usukker swear the speed of sound is like 700ms^-1

  • @nags555 I guess you made a mistake with value and unit of the speed

  • EOD recruiting poster. Big ass explosion with the caption Wanna blow shit up for a living?

  • 0.31 I love it...lets do it again. ROFL

  • What happened at 0:01?

  • Comment removed

  • @Fluxriflex2 Sonic the hedge hog running by

  • It was about 13 miles away.

  • this is why we get earthquakes!

  • Was that a 12 year old boy at the end or a woman?

  • Obviously a plasma phase canon somewhere in the 10K watt range.

  • That was what, 2200 yards away?

  • @LukasM42 meters bud there is a difference not much but enough at that distance to make a difference

  • @benkerr69 Pardon.. much too used to saying yards. I did indeed mean meters. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • @leslyclaypoolio you are correct...top secret shit dont tell anybody... :p

  • why is the camera still working?

  • TERMINATOR JUST THREW HIS PRIMARY BATTERY :P

  • hmm i want to know how far the bomb is:

    - speed of sound = 343.2 m/s

    - time before the sound reach us = 6 sec

    s = d/t

    d = s * t = 343.2 * 6 = 2059,2 meters. wow

  • @usukker

    Well done.

  • @usukker Yeah,but how about non-metric?

  • @doubleAAbatteries687 lol i dont even know what that is hahah

  • @usukker i had to do a whole paper of that....i turned it in a month late lol

  • @OMGRUN4YOURLIFE hahahhaa

  • @usukker you put the comma in the wrong spot

  • @Aloysius458 Actually you're wrong. The right thing to say would have been "you used a comma when you were supposed to use a decimal"

  • @TechnicianMad thanks for pointing out that technicality

  • @Aloysius458 You are very welcome

  • @usukker how many mile for us non mathematicians?

  • @sgtsmo95 i dont understnad what you mean :)

  • lets...do it again?

how many of these did THEY HAVE?!?!

  • Can you explain the 'pre-echo' that matches up w/the flaring?

  • @seq165432 that's just the wind blowing on the microphone

  • I love it! Let's do it again!

  • Magic missile?

  • The government's 4th of July. I am Russian so please go easy on me.

  • @brucebu Russians are both our allies and our rivals.

  • @gtas321

We both have such wonderful toys. But Comrade, we are losing the battle and our armies must march upon them. Make them taste our steel. Then we will see who is the king of Mountain!

  • Watch out, Iran!

  • oh man its edited..

  • at 00:01, plasma rifle

  • Did someone bring their sister?

  • The lens flare makes it look like you're firing something.

  • Chuck Norris after eating Mexican

  • From what I can tell you guys were about 1.28 miles away? That's the extend of my maths

  • FBI test? what is this? those areen't firworks. High explosives.

  • One onethousand, two onethousand.....

  • @Vengeancedude it wasnt delayed just think of it as lightning you see it first then you hear the thunder it only depends on how far you are and the speed of sound

  • That are fireworks :D

  • HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAX!

    [computer inbound]

  • This is why I am going to be an ordinance officer in the US Military!

  • Dayum sound, youu slooww XD

  • How'd you like that? I love it! Let's do it again!

  • the sound took almost 7 seconds to reach them!

  • 0:01 you can see this brite purple object its weird and cool

  • For all the guys who are asking what the thing at the beginning is, it's a lens flare. When the explosion first went off, the light it produced caused the camera to create that flare. Stop asking now? kthx.

  • omg fake....?

  • its the new laser/missle/bomb

  • when my comment is in the top, my gmail account is full of spam about reply... -_-

  • Its over 9000!!!!!!1

  • @eujnfnnasdni what 9000 thers no way that could be right!!

  • The flash IS the lens flare from the explosion. The reason it appears to precede it is because of the rolling shutter effect of cameras using CMOS sensors. On the frame that it appears, the area in the image where the detonation takes place had already been exposed milliseconds beforehand, so it is not visible. As the rolling shutter gets to the bottom of frame, the detonation happens & the flare is picked up by the sensor.

  • @DanielJM1982 Also this is not an EOD detonation, it is a rocket motor detonation. See this video "/watch?v=KMyMkOrCJkk#t=01m23s" from 1:23, it is a different angle of the same explosion. You will see that the detonation is very bright and creates a similar lens flare in that camera too.

  • @DanielJM1982 I thought the flash was because 9/11 was an inside job?

  • @DanielJM1982 and here I thought the flash was det cord.

  • @datainmotion looked like det cord to me too :o

  • @DanielJM1982 Thank you for that explanation good sir.

  • @DanielJM1982 I must know how you know that. What do you do for a living?

  • @benkerr69 lol. What I do for a living is nothing related to this. The reason I could tell immediately what it was, is because as a hobby I dabble in making short films (including visual effects) and therefore know quite a bit about the physics of lens flares and how to avoid (or cause) them. Again, as a result, I also know that lower end cameras that use CMOS sensors have rolling shutters that a susceptible to this type of anomaly.

  • @ Rapolast. They probably used shock tube to initiate the charge. Never used it myself, only been trained with det cord, but that's my best guess.

Shock Tube is used to transmit a shock wave to explosives in order to detonate them, since it takes heat+pressure to detonate HE.

  • Like a needle to a record.

  • sound wave transmitted faster through solid matter, right up from the ground, through to camera, displaying a translated wave to optic observable image of the detonation wire from the bottom up.

I'm real curious to know where the detonation charge was, from top down or bottom up.

Just my idea, but what do I know?

  • the light phenomenon at the beginning of this video is quite interesting. I've slowed it down and viewed it again and again and is definitely the source of ignition, and not an interesting effect caused by the explosion.

The question is, what is it then?

  • it took 8 seconds after the boom for the sound and shokwave to hit the camera its sir is bad ass

  • This "Somewhere in the U.S." looks to me like UTTR.

  • plasma cannon

  • I love it do it again!!! lol

  • Looks like the camera was in between shutter exposures when the explosion started, showing a prism like flare, happens all the time. If it's done in the U.S., probably Nevada. We hear booms all the time out here and we are 200 miles away. Twice a week sometimes it can rattle the windows a little.

  • this is like my farts on taco day at schools

  • lets do it again? 0:32 O.o

  • thats the way we destroy our mother earth -.-

  • looks like the camera shot a laser

  • at 1 sec see gokus attack

  • chuck norris jizzed at 0:01

  • can someone explain the name EOD an IED is a improvised explosive, ive never come across the name EOD?

  • @spikey171196 Explosive Ordinance Disposal

  • Comment removed

  • @spikey171196 Explosive Ordinance Disposal.

  • don`t try this at home!!!!

  • Chuck Norris just Teleported - the controlled explosion was to the right of of chucks mushroom cloud

  • /watch?v=lQ-cXeleMW0&feature=related

    One word: Lol

  • Who is that doggone broad giggling in the back? What she's got to do there???

  • 6s x333 m/s = approx. 2 km away. Cool

  • Fuckin' neat

  • someone shot at it with a plasma cannon

  • why cant i watch any military video without cod comments, or fags and their divide by 0 shit.

    stfu

  • @TheTravisMoose stfu i'll own u on cod u just cant play the game good

  • @TheTravisMoose you forgot Chuck Norris

  • @TheTravisMoose Because of that time you divided by zero while calling in a tactical nuke in COD...

  • @TheTravisMoose and chuck effin norris XP

  • @TheTravisMoose The moose has spoken, and yes, agreed. keep the vidya game comments on their own videos.

  • holy shit. that looked sick with the lazer beam going by in the very beginning.

  • lol it looks like you shot a laser

  • micro asteroid !!!

  • chick in the video sounds easy.

  • Could somebody explain to me whats that in the beginning of the video is like a Power Laser like Star War sh!t???

seriously in the first second like something going from the camera to the blast point

  • @axedrecista It's the detcord they used to set off the main explosion.

  • What's at the bottom of the screen before the explosion? A flash or something.

  • they ripped the tag off of a mattress

  • this is from Hill AFB outside of Salt Lake City in Utah. I used to do these shots all of the time. This is a pair of nuclear missile motors, but not the warheads. It is all high explosives, baby. The crater will be about 35-40 feet in diameter, and about 25 feet deep. After they verify that all explosives are disposed of, they will fill in the hole and do it all over again later that week. Go Air Force EOD!

  • Nukes do not weigh 40,000 Pounds WTF

  • what is that "laser/flame/beam" before the explosion??

  • @jamesvfx uit's called lensflare... just as you would see when filming towards the sun

  • @jamesvfx That's a lens flare.

  • @jamesvfx its a really high speed fuse that burns like 8 thousand feet a second or something

  • @flamingarse1 i dont think they make fuses that long its just the camera

  • @LivePlurXD no but its used for gauging the time

  • @jamesvfx lens flare?i was wondering the same thing

  • @jamesvfx this is a gun they are testing that is the size of a pistol that can cause explosions that size :D

  • @jamesvfx Chuck Norris's cum shot.

  • "святое дерьмо"

    XDD

  • It took the shock wave to reach them. Just count. But you may say differently.

  • ...Is this the tape of Chuck Norris being born?

  • @TheBrradsullivan No, just farting.

  • 1 person is al queda

  • wtf kinda weapon was that?

  • hide one of those in Bin Ladens toilet

  • @mbudd121 hes dead now!

  • @mrdreadeye808 I know, but seal team six should have still hid one of those in his pisser instead of shooting him! (obviously impossible i know, but he deserved it.)

  • @mbudd121 yeah n he would of went down with the world laughing haha

  • NONEL FTW! I LOVE THAT SHIT! >.> is not a fucking laser.

  • Thats what happens when i get constipated and take laxative.

  • why in 0:1,5 Sec. there is like a misile?

  • @rapolast Just a glitch in the recorder, concentrated light messed the pixels. or somehand held laser gun he shot caused that boomb

  • @rapolast It`s the new laserweapon they were testing

  • @rapolast Just a bright flash that the camera has trouble with

  • @bradkrit pause the video where the "missile" is found. that is no flash.

  • @kradhaissem It does look like something flying towards it but I'm sure it's just the camera picking up some sort of frequency we can't see with our eyes. I took a picture of a hot kiln and the whole thing was glowing purple in the photo, even though it looked white in person.

  • @bradkrit Could be, but what it seems to me is that in the beginning frames of the video it picked up the missile/whatever and then the next few frames were cut to where it is the explosion right after. The only reason i say this, is because I've never really seen a video of a bomb explosion with that clear of an image of a missile/rocket right before it explodes so until I do, I believe it is either chopped or it is following a line to the bomb since the titles EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal)

  • @rapolast Detcord.

  • @rapolast Thats the det cord going off. They must have been looking right down the whole length of cord.

  • @rapolast that was the fuse wether it be det cord or something different

  • @rapolast It's the detonation cord. it sends a pulse down the wire which detonates the blasting cap, and boom.

  • @rapolast lens flare

  • @rapolast Its the fuse

  • @rapolast

see the explosion first hear it later

  • Comment removed

  • @rapolast that was the ultra high speed fuse they used to set off the explosives

  • Got EOD?

  • is that a lighter at the very begining idk what that thing is

  • what is the meaning of EOD??

  • My female senses are tingling.

  • That should of been on Bin Laden's head while he was trimming his skanky beard!

  • Damn how did you detonate that amount and what plasticizer did you use?

  • they just tried to divide by 0

  • @NRAman123 Then where's Cooke?

  • haha i like how in the description you just put somewhere in the US! Great vid

  • the flash at the beginning is the fuse!

  • what is that thing at the right beggining in this video that flashes??

  • fuckin cunts

  • EOD. HMmmmm NO fuckin shit, anyone can sound smart when they fuckin search the shit on wiki, even though half you faggots on youtube try and act like u know shit but dont. make ur life usefull and do somethiing. and next time put IED for the title, the vid is about an IED, sure its about them "disposing the bomb" but to be specific make the vid what the title is!!! :)

  • @8urmomi This video isn't about an IED (Improvised Explosive Device). Think about it. It's 40,000 lbs, and when you make a 40,000 lb bomb, you don't make it from propane tanks. Besides, its in the US, and you can hear the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) team talking in the background.

  • ...can i play?!

  • hey what is the flash point in the fore ground 0.02sec. into the vid.
