Education in Lagos state is free, and those kids begging, mostly come from neighbouring countries, or they are begging with an adult who may be blind etc...in short they are with those 'professional' beggars, who are mostly Muslim, and one of the tenets of Islam is the giving of alms, so they are capitalising on that fact.
