I second that emotion! If any move simply BEGGED to be remade, it's the immortal "Eeagh!". But who around could ever replace the charismastic Richard Kiel or suave Arch Hall Jr ???
I was fortunate to have got to know Mr. Kiel pretty well, working with him filming his movie, and on several fund-raisers for charities. In spite of poor health, he was a great motivator to many. Being a devoute christian, I never saw him be pushy, and belittling people or judging anyone. He is a very humble, gracious man. He has plenty of money, and could have afforded a custom vehicle to accomodate his large size and bad hips. But, he drove himself around in an old van. I was lucky to meet him
Sounds to me like he doesn't believe one's denomination matters when it comes to Christianity. Interesting, because most bible thumpers on TV definitely look down on other Christians if they aren't "pure evangelicals".
Javier Bardem must have seen this clip of Richard Kiel when he was fiiguring out what style hair to wear for his role in "No Country for Old Men". Perhaps Javier & Richard should open a little shop....or mayber even a chain. Look out Supercuts!
Richard Kiel is awesome! But what the hell are they saying?? I can't hear anything, it's very unintelligible.. can anybody please do a transcript or something? Thanks :)
You are being an asshole. Can you let this man have a belief system. If you're an atheist so be it, that's your choice just as it's his choice to believe in god.
Yeah, I agree...I mean, I'm not a totally religious person myself, but I don't think it's right to ridicule a person's religious beliefs, as long as they don't impose those beliefs on others. If they're happy with the way they perceive life, then let them; otherwise, don't be a jerk and mock how they are
This is the reason people look at me weird when I say I'm an atheist, because of people like them. I mean, just because you don't believe in something doesn't mean you have to discredit other people for doing so. Personally, I don't necessarily believe in a higher power, but I still respect everyone's right to religion. It's not that big of a deal. Being Christian doesn't make Richard Kiel any less of a steel-toothed bad ass.
So true. Atheists are the most preachy, zealous people you'll ever meet. They attack Christians, claiming that they're intolerant, but Atheists today don't even support a Christian's right to express his/her religious views. Talk about intolerance.
If these religious views are intolerant ( homophobic for example) then they're goddamn right. And religion should be kept in private, but that's something you Americans won't ever understand. You have no idea what secularism is even though your country supposedly is secular.
I had no idea Jesus was so BIG!

Too bad it got cut off. Wanted to hear Richard finish. Amazed he's lived so damn long too, most ppl that are giant like him die fairly young.

The two hosts look so ridiculous, I thought this was a skit from Saturday Night Live. I can't believe people would intentionally look like that.

Yes you are right it is a choice. Why are the atheist the most intolerant of all? They accuse others of what they are most guilty of...bigotry.
