I agree, If you didn't sync the music onto the video later the sound quality would be crappy. It's alot more efficient to do it that way, but people are retarded and say "thats fake! you didn't really do that!"

I programmed the drums using FL Studios FPC drum machine, used MIDI for the bass and recorded the guitar myself. I still have the drums and bass for it but not a mixed backing track. If I get chance anytime soon I will mix them together to make a backing track.

If your going to complain at prerecording then syncing, then dont just complain at me but at half of youtube. Prerecording is easier to get a better quality of sound, PLUS youtube musicians like to add harmonies on top, and they cant do all that by doing one take of a video.

im a "youtube musician" anddd i dont prerecord. you can prerecord most of the song and then play over it with an additional part. or precord all of it and just play along with it. but its goofy if you pretend to play on cam. you should do air guitar in that case.

Nobody has ever got payed, you just sometimes get given free gear and a promotion on a site, but at the bare minimum a big discount on products.
