After 5 years they quit or are fired???? That's is such bull. They stay and collect their checks and pension. Why do you think test scores are so low. The teachers don't care.
Being a teacher sucks! You're critisized everyday by 30-52 faces of students who ignore your every word and then complain to you that they didn't do well on a test. If you're in high school or lower you migh have to deal with their nutty parents too. What's more is that you don't get too paid well. So you get treated like dirt and paid like dirt. Trust me, I've seen/known kids who drove one teacher insane(LITRALLY) on PURPOSE! Thank God there are saints like you. Good luck to all teachers!
@Mark001002 Good question! In order to get exposure for my videos, I link them to videos that have millions of hits. I used to link them to educational videos, but nobody watches them. People would rather watch Charlie Bit My Finger than a video that actually has relevant content. Just the way the world is....
@texholden But speaking of relevant, why not call it something like 'Us teachers can't take it any more!' I mean this video could be about anything :/ I thought I was stumbling upon an anti racism video, and I'm no teacher - what good does that do..
It's more like 75% quit within 5 years.
