I remember over here in the UK the original airing of this they cut Mcbains violent responce to the hecklers and cut back straight to him in the studios saying it was just him infront of a brick wall for an hour and a half. I used to think the joke was that the film was poor quality, ridiculous budget. Its funny sometimes how censorship can make a joke funnier.

I agree. During the first 7-8 seasons "The Simpsons" was great. But after that the quality has deteriorated dramatically. They should have allowed it to die with dignity after season 8. "The Simpsons" passed its expiration date a long time ago.

The story with "South Park" is pretty much the same, except that its quality started to deteriorate even faster. "Family Guy" on the other hand has never been funny.
