Thanks for the nice comment! I'm working on exercises and grooves to improve my ghost strokes, so I hope to get that aspect of my drumming tuned in very soon. Thanks again!!!
I had a big issue with my dynamics before I joined ML. It was really bothering me that I couldn't seem to get it down.
Just be sure your stick is sitting about an inch away from the snare drum at all times. Kind of in a downward position. It makes it so you literally CAN'T hit the snare hard. Then for the accents do a whipping type motion to get that hard crack. Again, you'll find your own style but, this might be a start it's helped me. Goodluck and can't wait to see your progress!
Also, if you find that you still can't get a soft enough hit. Try turning your hand a little bit. So that the weight of your hand is "under" the stick instead of over it. It's kind of the same concept as traditional grip. Again, just do this to get yourself used to using a soft touch on the snare. Once you get that "feel" over time turn your hand back to the "over" position. Again, it's just what helped me. Goodluck you're doing fantastic.
Thanks alot man! It was the first thing I've put on video. I need to soften up the ghost strokes, and watch my stick height on the those hats. Thanks again for the nice comment, have a great day!

Nice work dude, I think you held to the metronome well. Now it's just smoothing it out and getting those ghost notes more "ghosty".
